This Dr, as well as Howard Regional Health, was a complete waste of time and money. Went there for treatment of anxiety and PTSD that Ive had for quite some time after not liking my drs replacement after his retirement. After mandatory initial assessment and 3 therapy sessions needed before you can speak to the Dr I finally met him approx 2 months later. Hes a complete idiot that pushes long term/daily drugs not wanted and constant /continual therapy that has not done a bit of good for me in the past other than when going through tramatic events that Ive had in my life. I have never seen a Dr seem so ignorant in my life. I spent many years being a geanni pig with trial med before finding my last, very experienced Dr who helped me a lot without cramming daily med down my throat. That Dr helped me through 2 traumatic immediate family losses, and the worst days of my life. Dr Patel became angry and kicked me out of his office when I said I didnt want to try something new. He said I need to see a neurologist if I want help with my anxiety (which I have decided to try). But, what is a psychiatrist for then??? Also, his English is very broken and hard to understand. I do not see how he is a Dr at all.
