So thankful for this clinic, in so many ways. I have 2 cats and a dog. My dog is a 70lb mix and very old (almost 15years). Ive taken him to this clinic for care since 2008. Some things can seem expensive, but not really when compared to other Zionsville area clinics. Plus, its so worth it when I think of how well my pets are treated there. And that they have all the extra equipment/training to allow for all the additional avenues of care (like when you go from a GP to a specialist), but allowing me to be able to stay in one place, which I love the consistency of care. And, as I said...hes my buddy, so its worth it to me. In the past year, he has had a lot of medical issues arise. Both the staff (CSRs/techs) and Vets have all been so kind and compassionate as the "nervous mom" is dealing with everything. Most recently, he has started having mobility issues, and getting weakness in his rear legs. This caused him to start stumbling when walking stairs and jumping on/off things (in cars, too) I started with laser therapy, which has helped a great deal. More recently, as symptoms worsened, Dr. Tragessers recommended acupuncture, which she has the training and ability to perform. After the first session, he was bounding about like a puppy within 48hrs, and jumping heights with no concerns (Scared me to death, but he didnt fall like prior times.) Its brought spunk back to him in ways I didnt expect. I will always recommend this clinic to anyone, as I always know my own "babies" are in such good and caring hands.

Im not one to write reviews when I have a negative experience with a service provider because sometimes you are just not compatible with a vendor. But when someone has the same trouble with the provider on so many levels maybe its time to speak up. Zionsville Country Vet was recommended to me and as a new customer I and my dogs were treated very well, but as we continued with them I felt like I was being taken advantage of because of my strong compassion for my animals. I have absolutely no confidence that vet services and or test I paid for were even given to my dogs as many of them we not verifiable. I was left to just trust that they did what they say they did, even though the charges I paid were way over and above the estimates given to me. And when your family pet is on the table you cant just pick her up and walk out can you. You try to forge some trust in the Vet and not feel like youre being taken advantage of financially. After spending a couple of thousand dollars I feel like they totally used my love and compassion for my dogs to take advantage of me and gave me no reason to believe otherwise with the the explanations or with the way I was treated. Im sorry to say I would not recommend Zionsville Country Vet and if you do go here I hope you dont need anything more than annual shots and checkups!

This review is actually 0 stars, but it wont let me leave a review unless I click on a star. At 5:40 pm earlier this week, I discovered that my 17 year old dog had collapsed on my kitchen floor and was laboring to breathe. At 5:45, I called this clinic because I live less than a mile away and could be at their office in less than five minutes. I explained that I thought that my dog was dying and was afraid that she might need to be euthanized and that I could be there immediately. The woman who I was speaking with rudely informed me that the office was closing in 5 minutes and that they couldnt help me. As a result of their refusal to help me, I had to drive through rush hour traffic (slowly due to traffic volume) to another vet outside of Zionsville and my poor girl had to suffer 45 minutes longer than she would have if these people would have cared enough to help her. Apparently, quitting time is way more important to the staff at this clinic than helping dying animals.

We were recommended to this vet by friends and initially felt good about the vet and her staff. However, over and over again we were charged excessively beyond (sometimes up to $300) the estimates given without our permission. Every time we brought in an animal, they seem to need at least 200$ worth of tests and the vet couldnt really explain the reason to us in any way that promoted confidence. My sister also had begun bringing her animals to this vet and had the same type of experience. We felt we were being ripped off. She is seemingly more concerned about her income, less concern about the pets. I would never recommend Zionsville Country Vet.

I have been taking my pets to this clinic for the past 4 years and the doctors and staff at Zionsville Country Veterinary Clinic are the most compassionate, professional, and caring group of people I have ever met. They have a true passion for helping animals and it shows. Their compassion and dedication to my sweet kitty and their client service has always been above and beyond the call of duty. I highly recommend Zionsville Country Veterinary Clinic to all my friends and family.

You cant just buy a dog, go to walmart, buy the 10$ 50lb bag of food and think well thats it. It doesnt work that way. We have had two dogs over the last 16 yrs and took both to ZCV. The staff is superb and yes, good vet care is not cheap and if you care for your animal is not where you want to cut costs, if so, dont buy one. The service and vet care is amazing and we also take them to the ZCK next store, know our animals will receive the love and affection they deserve.

I have worked for Dr.Shari and she is an excellent Dr,but is quick to fire staff with no compassion or warning. She should train staff accordingly and not fire staff without training them properly.I feel like I had no chance to get fully trained. This clinic is not family oriented.I havenot once been written up or had an idea that the job I was doing was not up to the clinics standards.Worst team leader with no mercy.

My family has brought our pets to Dr. Lyons for over 15 years for care and consistently have received high-quality service. Not only are the professionals incredibly well qualified, but they also treat each of our pets -- even the curmudgeonly old cat -- with kindness and warmth. Id recommend to any & all.

I had an amazing experience here! This was my first time ever having a dog, and my first time at the vet, and it went great! Dr. Busch and her assistant were great with my dog and very helpful and informative for me! I would highly recommend her to anyone!
