I have one cat and I took him there to get all his shots and a physical. The price was very reasonable and I loved the service! They let me go back with my cat and even hold him to make it more comfortable. Definitely recommend to others in the area. My friends and boss take their dogs/cats there too and have only heard good things! UPDATE: (Last post was TWO YEARS AGO) Always lets me go back with my pets which i love because not only are my cats anxious but i am too! Ive hears too many bad stories. Becky and her staff go above and beyond. Caring for all my little ones at a very very reasonable price, Which i appreciate as a college student. I love her staff and how accommodating they are to my furbabies. My youngest was so scared he was even brought his own tablet with cat shows. I was impressed and will never go anywhere else. Not to mention, when i adopted a kitten the things she prescribed for ear mites, tapeworms , and fleas all worked within a week. I had no other problems and nothing was spread to my other cats. Becky was sure to send me home with enough for the other two as well. The new office is very clean and inviting. There is enough space for cats and dogs of all sizes. I was impressed by the amount of exam rooms, operating rooms, surgery and test labs. I love that she always tries to calm the animals WITH NO DRUGS if possible. I am very holistic person and my cats have always responded to herb and oils. She always trys a calming spray and help of owner (if possible) to get things done. I am only a 23 year old woman with three cats. Ive taken my oldest to two other vets before Becky. She is by far the best!!!

We happened upon Dr. Meier and Meier Veterinary when our Nittany was only a few months old following a very very bad experience at another local vet. Dr. Meier got down on the floor with Nittany at that visit and spent about 45 minutes to an hour with him diagnosing his injury and preparing a plan. From that point on we were sold. For the next 11+ years Dr. Meier and her staff cared for Nittany and for us. Nittany had serious health issues and bizarre ones off and on all of his life with the final being Laryngeal Paralysis which lasted a little over two years. He was special needs, special needs enough that when I call, the staff recognizes my voice before I tell them its me. Dr. Meier and her staff (past and present) have always handled everything with the up most professionalism and empathized and showed concern for us as doggie parents and toward Nittany more so than any other vet/vet tech/office staff than anyone I encountered in the specialized care he would need at ISU or the EIVC. When we are ready for another new doggie to enter our life....we will continue to chose Meier Vet. Period.

The staff is friendly and patient and always go the extra mile to help. Dr. Meier-Gast is very professional and capable. She isnt touchy-feely and doesnt sugarcoat things, which I appreciate. She gives it to you straight. Ive been bringing my dog and cats to her for years and will continue to do so as long as theyll have me. One thing I especially love is that she will do a home visit for a small fee; I have a very aggressive cat that gets very worked up and her coming to the house to give him his vaccinations is a huge relief to me. It really lifts a burden and I greatly appreciate that she offers that option.

Terrible service. I called to inquire about them seeing my dog for simple ear infection. Was interrupted on the phone before I could finish and was asked if I was already a client. The answer was no so the person on the phone said she was double booked and hung up on me. Did not attempt to schedule a different day or help in anyway possible. Almost as if I was an inconvenience and on top of that I wasnt an existing client so they had no time for me.

Dr. Meier is a very personable and knowledgeable vet. Our older dog has joint issues and our previous vet did not seem to be monitoring them as well as they could have been, so a friend referred us to Dr. Meier. She does a great job to make sure he is as comfortable as he can be and that the pain medicine that is prescribed has minimal impact to his overall health while still being effective.

Meir vet clinic is awesome! Ali goes above and beyond to care for my pets when I go out of town. To the gentleman who said he got hung up on and the person on the phone was rude is nonesense. I dont know if he is mixing this business up with another because that is simply not something they would do at meir vet clinic. Keep up the good work and I will be seeing you soon!

Im so glad I chose this clinic for my Cairo when I moved to Marion. Her office is part of a house and gives you a feel of a "Dr Quinn Medicine Woman" type of experience. Old fashioned and right to the point is her way of delivering the diagnosis, which I really appreciate. You can tell she has chosen her profession well. I wont go anywhere else!

Ive been using this vet for my 3 cats the past 2 years and Ive never been disappointed. Dr. Meier is always very thorough with her exams and one of the most affordable vets Ive been to. The staff is very welcoming. Ive had to schedule an emergency visit once and they even stayed late to help me that same day! Id recommend this vet to everyone!

This veterinarian Becky Meier ia a down to earth, intelligent vet. I have been taking my numerous dogs to her for over 22 years, and if a problem arises that happened after hours, she will come back and make sure your pet is taken care of. Her staff are very hospitable, and professional in helping out with what you need.
