I went there based on these on these 5 star reviews and I am sorry I didnt read the rest. I took my cat there today 5/22/10 for 2 shots. I did not like the way they handled my cat Casper in the least. That fat nurse Sue had my cat by the scruff of the neck when Linda was administering the shots and Casper did not like it and neither did I so I asked her to take her hand off his neck. Her response, "Oh I am not hurting him". I said to her take your hand off his neck and physically removed her hand. She literally huffed out of the room like a 2 year old child. Some professional. My cat was literally growling because she had her hand there. It is like hello earth to dumb broad. Linda Kahler said, "Well that is a way a mother cat carries her kittens". I said, "Casper is not a kitten, he is a 7 year old cat and he did not like it either." Heck, Linda Kahler did not even know how much Casper should weigh for his size. My husband was tempted to ask her if she was actually a real doctor. What a quack! Now to me if a vet can not honor the owners wishes, then they lost our business. Casper did not like them and neither did my husband and I and that is the last they saw of Casper. I only gave them one star to be polite, other than that I would not give them even that.

I had taken in my cat Caramel and when I called to set up her appointment I told the lady to put it under my name but my mom might bring her in and my name wasnt even on the paper . I then had to wait in the room for 30 to 40 minutes waiting for the doctor to come . After he came in and had done everything that needed to be done , he told me they had no idea what was wrong and sent me off . So as I went to check out the lady you was supposed to be checking me out answered the phone instead of helping me right away so I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes until the other girl sitting at the counter finally started to help us . And that girl had NO idea what any of the stuff was on the receipt . I got charged for 3 shots and my cat had only got 2 , and I was charged for stuff that the doctor didnt even do . My bill was almost $300 for stuff they didnt even do . The shots they gave my cat are making her not eat , so she has lost a lot of weight and when I call to tell them they just say that she doesnt need to be check out . I do not recommend going there , they do not act like doctors , and they do not know what theyre doing .Nothing was good about my visit .

I just happened to Google the vet clinic where I take my two cats (All Pets) to get their phone number, and noticed these terrible reviews. I therefore feel compelled to submit my own review. When I got my cats a few years ago, I asked several people around town (both vet techs and pet owners) which vets were good and which were not. Based on their input, I chose All Pets, and I have been happy ever since. I have never, ever, not once experienced the rudeness the other reviewers describe, and am shocked that they are describing the same clinic. On every visit, the vet techs and the vet have all been friendly, professional, caring, and knowledgeable. Even more than that, they always take the time to patiently answer my questions and explain things. Their prices seem fair to me, and their hours of operation are quite accommodating. The only thing I can think of that would explain the difference in reviews is perhaps the fact that there is more than one vet at this clinic ... three or four, I think. I absolutely adore the vet my cats see, Dr. Kahler. She is wonderful, and I highly recommend her. ~Andrea C.

CATS PAWS NEED CLAWS!!! Stop this barbaric procedure. Youre causing a lifetime of hurt and pain for cats. They walk on their paws for goodness sake their claws are necessary. As someone who has owned both declawed and not declawed cats.... The cats I owned with behavioral issues were declawed. A cat I owned for years always urinated outside her box and I took her to the vet multiple times. I believe it was due to her declawing that she preferred to pee on the carpet. I eventually had spent hundreds on vet bills and changed my carpet twice before she had to be given up. It was upsetting how much unnecessary pain and suffering she had to deal with in her life. My sweet Zeba came declawed as I got him when he was an adult. I can see him in pain when he walks everyday and its gotten worse for him with age.

I cant say enough good things about the entire staff at All Pets 6th St SW location. I read the reviews before making an appointment, but decided they were worth a shot since theyre open on Saturdays. My husband and I took our Boston Terrier in for a check up, refill on heartworm medication, and to discuss his food and digestion habits. Not only did I think the exam portion went extremely well, but Dr. Kahler grabbed a chair and sat down to talk about Winstons food issues with us. She was very knowledgeable and didnt make us feel rushed in any way. This clinic is a keeper!

I have been taking our dogs and cats to All Pets for about 15 years for routine shots and care. Recently, our dog had an accident and broke his leg in two places. I have always been happy with the vets that we have seen at All Pets, but Dr. Winterowd did an amazing job with this injury. He applied a new cast weekly and we have had none of the problems that are common with casts on dogs. It was obvious that he is extremely skilled in dealing with injuries such as this. The leg healed perfectly and the cost was reasonable. I also find the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Ive taken my dog, Patrick, there for nearly 10 years now and choosing this clinic was the best decision Ive ever made when it comes to my pet. They are WONDERFUL with him, and he gets groomed there. They answer all questions I have, they provide the best possible care and without them my Patrick wouldnt have made it through the bought of pancreatitis he had last winter. They are SO SO SO good with animals, and Id recommend them to anyone and everyone and the best part is that I can get all of his shots and other needs taken care of when I take him in for grooming.

All the doctors there have been wonderful with my dog and very patient with him and myself as well. Any concern I have had, they alleviate. They are always kind and caring to my dog, plus they have a groomer that works through them, so I can have my dog groomed and his routine appointments done on the same day. I would highly recommend them to anyone, as both the doctors and their staff are top notch.
