I have been taking my dogs to Randallstown Animal Hospital for about 7 years. My experience has always been very pleasant until today. On Friday I had my dog groomed. When I brought my dog home he was rubbing his ear and whining. I looked in his ear and noticed several scratches. The scratches were too far down in his ear for him to have scratched himself. I assumed that the groomer was attempting to get the hair out of his ear and scratched him accidently. As I looked closer I realized that his hair had been cut uneven. His left side was trimmed closer than the right side and all of the hair on his ears were uneven. the cut looked very unprofessional. On Monday morning I called Randallstown and explained that I was not satisfied with the way my dog had been groomed. I told the groomer that my dogs hair looked like it had been butchered. She stated that was untrue. I told her that I would be at her location in 15 minutes so she could see for herself. Five minutes later Dr. Sharmar, the owner of Randallstown Animal Hospital, called me and was very irate that I had stated that my dog looked he had been butchered. I explained that his hair had been cut uneven and I wasnt satisfied with the service received. Dr. Sharmar said that I could take my business elsewhere. He also said "That is what YOU PEOPLE do". I asked him what did "YOU PEOPLE" mean. He would not answer. I told him that I was surprised at how he was talking to me and that we had never had any problems in the past. He continued to yell and scream and told me to find another vet/groomer and to not bring my dog back to him. I told him again that I didnt understand why we were having this type of conversation. He continued to be disrespectful and I hung up. I decided to take my dog to Randallstown so Dr. Sharmar could see for himself and to try to salvage the relationship that we had maintained for the past 7 years. Dr. Sharmar was sitting at the desk when I entered. I asked him if I could show him what I was referring to. He looked and my dog and stated he didnt see anything wrong with him. I asked him to allow me to show him where the problems were. He stated that I could take my business elsewhere and he didnt want me to bring my dog there again. He stated that I was trying to make him to lose his license. At this point I realized the problem was bigger than me. I incorrectly assumed that I could voice my displeasure with the service I received. Apparently that is not allowed with Randallstown Animal Hospital. I still havent been told what "YOU PEOPLE" mean, but I am sure we all know what that term refers to. It took me 7 years to realize that Randallstown Animal Hospital does not have any respect me or the care of my dog.

I have had the pleasure to work with my uncle Dr. Parbodh Sharma several years back when I was in college, years 2000-2005. I cultivated many skills as a veterinarian assistant. I also learned the love for medicine and since then I have gone to medical school and now I am currently doing residency in family medicine at Geisinger health system in Wilkes Barre PA. During my medical school years I had two Maine coon cats, one of them named Cher who fell quite ill to hepatic-lipidosis. This condition arrises when the cat is exposed to a stressor and it refuses to eat. I took her to a clinic in Brooklyn, where I was living at the time and they said that not much could be done for her except palliative care. I then drove her down to see my uncle. He took her in and cared for her for over 3 weeks. The cat was emaciated and really sick. She refused to eat, so my uncle hand fed her daily. I couldnt believe when I saw her again, she looked great and healthy as if nothing had transpired. I remain grateful to my uncle as he not only saved her life but also took great care of her. I take my dog Sylar routinely to him now and I think that he is one of the best veterinarians I have ever met in my life. My aunt Anita who works by his side is equally inspiring. Her hard work and genuine care brings warmth to the hospital. My aunt and uncle never ever go away on a vacation, so they are always available on the weekends to take care of sick animals who are boarding at the hospital. I have never experienced this amount of work ethic and dedication. I cant see myself taking my pets (one dog and two cats) anywhere else but to Randallstown Animal Hospital. I consider myself a lucky fellow as my pets receive a great deal of love and care when they are under Dr. Sharmas umbrella.

I love Randallstown Animal Hospital! I have been bringing my five year old min-pin to Dr. Sharma for the past three years for his shots and boarding. We were referred to another vet when we first got Sonic, but it was not a good fit. I looked at the reviews on Google and found Randallstown Animal Hospital. Dr. Sharma and his staff are so patient, kind and understanding of my five year old min-pins temperament. Sonic does not always play well with others, but he interacts with them as if they are family. Dr. Sharma and his staff truly have a love for animals and it shows! I never worry when I board Sonic. As long as Dr. Sharma is around, he will be my dogs vet.

My dog had been going there for years and had a sick appointment today because he was not walking eating or urinating. He also had diarrhea and was very fatigued. Needless to say unfortunately he is no longer with us. He had to be put to sleep from Chf. I had an appointment and was running late due to problems helping my dog , when I realized I was late I called and was told the vet had left. The assistant told me she would call the doctor and see if he would come back and he refused. My dog needed immediate intensive care and I had to drive to Towson to get him help. He ended up being put to sleep. If I could give them no stars, I would.

Ive been talking both of my dogs here for the past 7 yrs, ever since I got them. Both of them are rescued and one of them were treated so badly that he has a bad temper. I took him to many hospitals and they couldnt handle him. But Dr. Sharma is great!!!! He has patience with Snowy. He is the only vet that snowy can tolerate. He is always fair and honest about the treatment for my dogs and cat. Ive recommended some friends and they love this hospital too. Its a good hospital with a great vet and inexpensive compare to others. Definitely worth checking out if you havent done so!!

Love this veterinary practice. Dr. Sharma urged us to wait until our dog went through her first heat before getting her fixed so as to avoid future complications. He handled our first puppy visit and made sure our dog had a positive experience. She loves going there now. Loves the staff, and even boards there sometimes. Theyve been great with our cats as well. They are knowledgable, compassionate and caring. I highly recommend this practice.
