I went for an eye exam after a few years of not being covered by my old insurance carrier.I had been getting by with "readers" but knew I needed glasses with a more specific corrective lense for computer and close reading work. I chose Dr. Goswick based on the office location and acceptance of Davis Vision. At my first contact with the receptionist, I was immediatly impressed with the professionalism and courtesy I expereinced, which carried through to the initial visit. The woman who greeted and checked me in was wonderful. When it came time for the exam I was greeted by Dr Goswick who is a very friendly and helpful eye doctor.He gave me a thorough exam and explained with enthusiam concepts of eye care and answered any questions I had. He was warm and engaging and I was very pleased with my expereince.(You may also get to see the adorable photos of his 6 month old son!) He even gave great feedback and helped me select glasses that I look forward to wearing, as the optician who had been graciously helping me go through the frame selections, (I tried several pairs on while witing for my eyes to dialate) had to leave for the day. I ended up with a pair of A/X frames that are very fashinoable and were reasonably priced.I was also informed of their policy of being available for any adjustments or repairs if needed in the future, they stand behind their products and they scheduled an annual exam automatically at the end of the visit. I highly recommend this practice and scheduled future appointments for my husband and son.

Starting with a warm welcome, to Ashleys professional preliminary exam, and Dr. Goswicks thorough exam/explanations/recommendations, I was delighted with the experience and eye care that I received. You all guided me through the examination process and the entire office visit with thorough explanations each step of the way. Thank you! Moreover, Patrick and Emily did an outstanding job - and I do mean an OUTSTANDING JOB - helping me to select the right frames and new glasses. When I went home with my new glasses, I got "two thumbs up" from my wife and each of my kids! (How many Dads can say that!?!) So thank you again! Neat, clean, knowledgeable doc, well run business. In my opinion they tell you too much about your eyes. I dont prefer to worry about "potential" issues that may or may not develop in many years. Also, I found it odd that the lighting was changed significantly during the close up vision test from dim with the naked eye test to very bright led lighting with a slightly corrected vision. It clearly made my close up vision seem significantly worse uncorrected when in fact it doesnt require glasses. I also Didnt care for the sales pressure at the end of the visit to purchase glasses at their shop. Overall a good place but could use a few minor tweaks.

I had been unhappy with my eye doctor and was looking for someone closer to home. I had heard good things about Dr Goswick so decided to give him a try. At my first appointment I was impressed by how friendly the entire staff was. Dr Goswick explained what all the tests were and what the results meant. I have been wearing glasses for many years and my previous eye doctor never took the time to do this. I initially went to him because he was close to my home, but, will continue to see him because of my positive experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for great eye care.

I met Dr. Goswick last week and he is a kind, patient, wonderful man. He takes the time to explain everything to you and answers all your questions and concerns without ever rushing you. He takes an interest in your complete health and gives you the best eye exam you have ever had. Thank you Dr. Goswick for the wonderful care you gave me. 1/9/12 - Dr. Goswick is always friendly and is ready to answer any questions you have. His explanations concerning the health of my eyes and what we will be looking at in the future are simple and easy to understand. His staff is helpful, courteous and very friendly. Perfect Focus is a warm and caring environment. Good to see young and old there at the same time. Every part of my visit here was fantastic. The optometry equipment is all state of the art. Dr. Goswick is highly knowledgeable and treats you like an intelligent, curious person. I felt engaged in the diagnostic process, which to me is really cool. The selection of glasses is also excellent, especially the non-luxottica options. They are a relatively new business, so I encourage them to never lose the qualities that led to this praise!

Last minute "emergency" problem and Dr. Goswick and his awesome team were able to make time and see me. The approach, equipment, and diagnosis of a retinal issue were both impressive and comforting. I would set his team apart from other optometrists from the perspective of just my one visit.
