ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!. Todays date is 09/07/2015. I tried to take advantage of the 50% off sale. I wear a very common frame. Not Oakley or Ray-ban. The retail on the frame is about $189.00. My prescription is tri focal with no lines and plastic lenses. The sales person looked at AAA and ARAP to see for discounts. In the end they wanted $476.00. I then said OK...Take the 50% off now. They said that is with the 50% off now !!!! She turned the screen and showed me the retail price (that was jacked up) at $952.00. THIS IS FOR A VERY COMMON SET OF GLASSES !! I took my prescription and left !!!. I will give the money to a small Optometrist first even if it cost me $100.00 more !! Do not be caught up in the 50% savings !! Also, realize that the frames are China made and most likely cost about $5.00. The plastic lenses are PROBALLY bought in high volume for under $5.00 each I would say. I understand that they need to make money and pay for help, lights, rent and so on. I own a business also, for the past 30 years. In my opinion, Lens crafters is a very nice scam. go to a small Optometrist and get honesty and true work ethics. If you say, well my insurance covers this....does it??? Or will it just raise insurance cost more??

The service at this LensCrafters can be great or terrible, depending on which staff member is helping you. Few are very helpful, but the majority are apathetic to their job. I got new glasses recently and needed my glasses frames adjusted for my head. The first time I got them adjusted, which was about a month ago, an apathetic employee adjusted my glasses but refused to listen to my requests and only adjusted my glasses once. They were condescending and told me they couldnt adjust my glasses anymore, even though I could feel my frames hurting me. The frame adjustments were so bad that eventually just wearing my glasses would give me migraines. Yesterday, I went back to the same LensCrafters and unfortunately the same apathetic employee was the only one available to adjust my glasses frame again. Once again, they ignored my requests and were only willing to adjust my glasses just once. My glasses frame still gives me migraines when I wear. Of the few people working on the front floor (and theres only 3 people working max), a majority of them are rude and will make your time with them as difficult as possible and in my case literally painful. I do not recommend.

If you JUST want to buy contact lenses from Lenscrafters, keep a couple things of mind: First, contact lenses are sold by the optician who works in the back of the store (Jewell Eye) - this is a SEPARATE business with different hours from the Lenscrafters store! Oh, and dont show up within half an hour of Jewell Eyes closing time, because theres a good chance she has left early (happened to me, after leaving work early to get there). Next, they will have to order your contacts because they do not keep any contacts in stock. Not even common prescriptions from common brands. So dont arrive with the completely reasonable expectation that youll walk out with your contacts. Lastly, Robin Jewell is rude. Acted like I was being unreasonable when I asked why they dont have contacts in a contact lens store. Also was completely unhelpful when I explained that I do not have a car or access to a fax machine, so would ideally like to email her a high-res picture of my Rx. Just a stupid experience, overall. Im going to Bello Opticians on Shrewsbury St.

I wish I had did my homework and read the reviews about LensCrafters before I had purchased glasses. I was having issues seeing, and need to have my eyes checked which is why I went there. The exam went well, but she performed contact fitting too. I dont think the size of eyes have changed. This was an extra charge. I didnt have time to wait for my glasses, came a few days later and was fitted. Got home to try my new glasses. I was able to see for distance and read documents in front of me, but I cant not see the computer which I desperately need for online classes and work. These are progressive classes, I really thought I needed tri focal. They said they could redo them over, went home, these were not better. These glasses were $400. It is really said I can see better with my mono contacts than with these glasses. I will never return!

6 month old lenses are cracking. I bring them back. They say nope, its got to be my fault because Im not using lenscrafters cleaning solution. $140 please. Nothing but berating , offensive and nasty comments. I felt like a child being scolded for something I didnt do! They are there only for the initial sale, they sell inferior product and do not stand by their warranty. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!

When into the store with my prescription and was not approached. I felt that I was being pre-judged. After filling out a survey I was contacted by the store manager that addressed my concern. I appreciated the call back but was referred to the Auburn location by co-workers who also did not have the best experience at the Greendale Mall location. Four Star because of the manager call back.

I try to buy the eyeglass over there. It seems like the women over there do nothing but try to steal company money. They discriminate me and ignore me. End up I buy a glass but they made mistake and cancel all my insurance benefit. I call the insurance but they refuse to give the insurance information. AVOID this place if you have a chance.

Just recently purchased my third pair of glasses from lenscrafters, this time from the Greendale Mall. The staff was knowledgeable regarding lens options and did an awesome job helping me pick out a frame. My glasses were finished in less than an hour and they came out perfect

Staff is way too pushy here. Its too easy to just order glasses online these days for the staff to be this assertive. They do have a couple things that make the in store experience better than online, but not enough to justify the markup the charge.
