In 2008, I was referred to this Veterinary clinic by a friend of mine, who claimed that they offered very reasonable prices. After looking into their office, I decided to give it a try. My indoor cat had gotten loose, and was attacked by another cat. I was very concerned, and immediately brought him to the office to receive care. At that time, I was advised to leave my cat at the office.. which would end up being a 2 week stay. Needless to say, I was emotionally drained. My husband was deployed, I was in the process of moving myself and my 3 children across the country, and I was forced to give up our family pet. I was completely devastated knowing that I was going to take my cat to its new owner. He was apart of my family after all.. Upon arrival, I was visibly upset, and Dr. Mohsen Gomaa treated me as if I was an inferior, and my payment was unreliable. I tried to pay with my checks, as usual, and he refused, saying that he couldnt trust me in "the state" I was in. Apparently he doesnt realize the devastation of losing a pet!! I was mortified, and couldnt believe that this man could treat another human being with such utter cruelty. After driving to the bank, paying in cash, I was on my way. This was by far the worst experience I have ever gone through, and I can honestly say that I would not wish this treatment upon my worst enemy!! To this day, I am still emotionally affected by the perverse treatment I received. I will NEVER recommend this office to anyone, in fact, I can honestly say that I hope he goes out of business.

I had Brought my cat to them for many years. My cat had a lung issue...They put the cat on antibiotics for over two years without a break in between. I went to renew the script and I was informed that the price has doubled. So I found an online place that was less than the original price before the increse. However Abbott refused the same script that they had given to me. When I asked them about it they said I was just about due for anther visit ..At this time I felt something fishy was going on so I contacted Dighton Rehoboth animal hospital and explained the situation. At that time I was informed that under no circumstance would they ever give an animal antibiotic s for a period of two years. I was also inform from 2 other locations them same thing.. After confirming the the meds did not double...actually I was told the price has gone down a bit ....Be very careful with them as I dont believe they have the animals best intetest in mind.

We love them. We have dealt with the father an his son dozen and dozens of times. They are wonderful. They explain everything. Very professional. Couldnt say enough good things about them. The son saved my dogs eyes last year. A groomer in Warwick put something in his eyes with no permission. He almost went blind. He did everything for me and Dakota. He has treated us since Dakota was 8 weeks old. We went today for a ear ache. He is so gentle. I drive from Cranston. It is only about 22 minutes. They do take charges now. He explains his medicine and is very patient with me. I get nervous when they explain everything. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are wonderful. I had the son today. I always forget his name. He is such a great doctor. You wont be disatisfied! Try them. Easy to get to too!

This vet is wonderful. I have been going for quite sometime to them. Father and son are wonderful. I recently lost my little chihuahua, Angelo and they were so caring. I brought Angelo in without an appointment first thing in the morning, they had a patient in the exam room, they asked them to please wait in the waiting room and brought Angelo right in. The care and gentleness my dog was treated with was amazing. The doctor and staff were so kind to me in my time of grief. I honestly cant say enough about this wonderful vet and his caring staff.

I am always very happy with the care my cat is given by Dr. Gomaa and his son. The office visits are quick and painless, and as another reviewer stated, they always accomodate me even at the last minute. I have boarded my cat with them when Ive had to go on extended trips, and have been happy and relieved at how well my cat was treated! I judge the care given to my cat by his behavior and attitude when he returns home, and he is always happy and relaxed. Ill keep bring my animals here!

Terrible vet. 4 years ago he diagnosed my dog with grade 4 luxating patella on both hind legs and recommended surgery right away. After visiting another vet as well as an ortheopaedic specialist they both found only a grade 1 on one leg and recommended nothing be done. Since implementing an omega supplement there have been no other issues since. If you go there and they recommend surgery- GET A SECOND/THIRD OPINION!!!

Have been with Dr Gomaa for years. Now I am dealing with the father and son. Both are very professional. They are very caring, and respect your feeling when you have a problem with your pets. They take care of my dog and 2 cats. My daughters and son also go to them and are also very pleased with the care that they give your pets. You could not find more caring people. Anna

We have used Abbott Animal Hosp for over 22 years. Dr Goma is an intelligent, caring and practical doctor. He has a no fuss office that is well maintained and clean. The care and service to his patients and their families is stellar. With the addition of his son, there is sure to be an uniterruption in the way this practice is run.

Misdiagnosed my cat. Put my 14 year old cat through surgery which he should have known better. Also charged my bank card twice. Even after providing bank statements they refused to give credit. I had to get my bank involved to dispute the transaction for my refund. I would never come here again. BEWARE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...

The Gommas are fantastic and knowledgeable veterinarians! The office is always clean. I had an emergency with my poodle a few years back and they took her right away and it was very late at night. I cant say enough good things about them.

The young guy vet is nothing but arrogant and rude. Talks to you like your stupid and pretty much uses his employees. I would never go here or recommend anyone to them. Disgusted by them.
