One star because it wont post unless it gets at least one star. My fiance was injured badly at work as a cook. He sat in the waiting for 7 and a half hours by the time he was brought inside a room his cut had already started to close. They tried to open it which wouldve been the right thing to do seeing as it was a dirty kitchen knife nope they put derma bond and sent him on his merry way. Now fully infected under skin and cant work at all. Thanks KS Morton for the quality of no excellence! I then went for severe sore throat and ear pain. Unfortunately only hospital within walking distance at 3am. I signed in with an address I havent had in 10yrs and they took it and wouldnt let me change it it was a joke I was the only one in the waiting room waited for an hr so I thought there was a lot of people out back nope just alot of chatter. If your in desperate need your better off going to the clinic up the street if you want good care!

If I could give this hospital zero stars I would . If you have children please please please do not bring them here ! I brought in my four month baby because she started breathing weird while sleeping . I had a video and I tried to show the doctor but he could careless , he didnt even look . Anyways they said she had bronchitis and sent us home with a prescription. The next day I bring her in to her primary care and I tell them about the medication and they were unaware. It was never on the report the hospital faxed over and to make matter worse the medication I was given can not be taken by a four month old , its a steroid . Everything on the report was wrong! How could the even happen ? How could the be so irresponsible? I will NEVER return , please beware !

I am scared to think that this hospital is the closest hospital during an emergency. My son in law suffers from Crohns disease and went in to the emergency room in extreme pain! They took a x-ray and did some blood work the Dr. said he did not see anything and sent him home with pain medication and advice to follow up with his primary. After being home for a little less than 2 hrs it became so bad we rushed him into Boston were they found 3 massive abscesses, blockage and rushed him into emergency surgery. We were told that we were extremely lucky that it did not burst and that his situation was considered extremely dangerous if not life threatening. This hospital has to clean up there act!!!!!! They should be shut down!!!!

Seriously I have been trying to settle this bill for over a year and there billing department may be the worst people Ive dealt with in my whole life. I am STATIONED over seas got injured while I was on leave told them i have tricare then they billed my dads insurance. I called them to get the bill sent to me they said they could not email me the bill. and also they could not fax or send it overseas. SO HOW AM I TO GET MY BILL! I try to call there billing department instead of putting me on hold the robot just tells me all of them are currently speaking to other people and then hangs up on me. GARBAGE BILLING DEPARTMENT DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!

By far the worst hospital it has ever been my displeasure to have to go to. I had my wife brought to the hospital by ambulance after having her call me because she was bleeding excessively from her rear. When I met her there they made her sit in the waiting room for 3 hours. Mind you she was brought in by ambulance. So after three hours and my patience at its end I finally decided to take her elsewhere seeing as how people were showing up and going in after getting the hours after my wife. As we were leaving a nurse came out and said they had finally had a bed for us but wouldnt be seen by a doctor for another hour. We declined and headed home.

Terrible!! I brought my girlfriend here for a chronic migraine. She was throwing up and dizzy never mind the pain. And it took her 4 and a 1/2 hours to even get into the room. Ive lived in Taunton unfortunately my whole life and this hospital is horrible! I keep giving them another try but next time I think I will take my chances and go further out to another hospital. Oh by the way all the doctors in my opinion should be fired along with the so called nurses. I think you would get better treatment from a veterinarian. Anywhere you see steward on the sign to the hospital dont go the are money suckers!

Ok, if I could give the STAFF 5 stars I would. 3 visits in a month. You do not want to be me And EVERYONE, every time so far has been Kind and trying to help. However... there is JUST NOT ENOUGH STAFF. Period. END OF STORY. Last night 2 hours plus in Waiting room. The Triage nurse was also the charge nurse and had a PT load. 2 more hours to be sent on the way. Everyone we dealt with apologized for the wait. It s a BEAUTIFUL State of the ART ER..with NO STAFF.. I just do not get it!

My mom was just staying here and she has cancer and was treated like crap here! The staff lies! They dont even deserve a star they sent my mom home with a denture tab in her mouth in her dentures!!!! Who know how long it was like that! I am furious and heartbroken that they would treat sick people like this!! That isnt professional care that is abuse!! I will be reporting this along with more! Dont bring your family to this hospital if you love them and want them to live!

While they were quick to take me in the ER and help me, their system broke down when transferred upstairs. The staff is very friendly and unfortunately overworked. The floor doctors are stretched too thin which causes long waits for simple med requests. To solve this problem, theyve instituted patient ambassadors and hospitalist RNs, which if used properly solve issues quickly.

In waiting room for an hour. 12 am still waiting . I am an asthmatic came for Albuterol treatment. . Only way morton will help is if your an addict foaming at the mouth overdosing. Nurse bethany at the desk on her cell phone saying she called all nurses are busy. I cant make them come down. Wouldnt have gotten the one star if I didnt have to to comment

Got there a 9 with a kidney stone that was in full attack .sat for two hours throwing up getting chills laying on floor ...the hospital staff never offered me a bed or pillow,no blanket. .not even water to help the stone pass.people in the waiting room before me and other people came in off the street and they got to go in without any waiting.

DONT GO HERE!!! Terrible experience in the MRI department. Theyre just not professional. Their MRI machine is NOT an "open" MRI. The hole you get stuck in is only a little bit larger than a small MRI machine. To make matters worse it is impossible to park, and almost impossible to find anything inside the hospital.
