Probably the worst experience I ever had. So I call them to set up an appointment and they told me my appointment was fixed for Tuesday 12/14. I give them my insurance information and everything is good. The next day, a lady called Kim gives me a call saying my insurance cant be verified or something like that. I speak to my insurance company and they told me everything is in order. I call Dr. Steven Lutz & Associates and told them to double check my insurance information again. A few minutes later, they call me back saying my insurance is verified and that Im all set for my appointment on Tuesday. Today, I get another call from this lady, Becky saying that my insurance is not verified and that they have moved my appointment to a week later. I told her I got a call from one of her coworkers (or it might be her) saying that my insurance was verified on Saturday. In short, VERY BAD MANAGEMENT. I dont know how the doctors are, but the people who are at the front desk are very bad at their job. Im highly disappointed. Please check out other places nearby. This is a very sad place.

Everyone there was very professional and kind, however I went on a day that was very busy (I overheard them saying on the phone that they were booked solid and that they couldnt take any walk-ins that day), which meant that even though I got there early to fill out paperwork I experienced a few delays in both prescreening and seeing the optician to help me pick out glasses. However throughout all of this everyone was very kind, informative and professional. Dr. Steven Lutz did my eye exam, and though I got the impression that he was rushed (due to being completely booked) he was very informative and took the time to explain everything. And the optician did a great job of helping me choose frames based on what I liked. Overall I thought it was a great office and eye appointment, and Im only lowering it to 4 stars since there were delays since it was very busy I would have given 4.5 stars but that was not an option. I look forward to continuing going back in the coming years.

Excellent Experience!!! The staff at Dr. Steven Lutz office inside of Lenscrafters were knowledgeable and efficent. They had appointments the same day I called for my contact lens exam and had my prescripton in stock!!! They gave me a 50% off my glasses after my contact purchase and rebates. I walked away with a year supply of my contacts and glasses the same day. Ive have been wearing contacts for years and never had a better experience then this. Dr. Lutz has tons of high tech equipment that Ive never heard of before. Then when you get to the exam room he explained every detail of my eye health and prescription. You would be crazy to go anywhere else!!!

Told them my insurance and i need glasses only. They said yes we take it. Did an eye exam where Dr Lutzs partner, a younger guy, wouldnt stop hitting on the girl assistant to properly examine me. I asked him to please pay attention and then he was mad and just stopped the exam, which was only 5 minutes long... Went out to pick out new glasses then was told my insurance doesnt cover anything but an exam, which I had to pay out of pocket for. So I wasted a trip and money here. Now they wont release my prescription,thats right, unless I pay more money. My last optometrist sent Dr Lutz my prescription free....

This is the fourth or fifth visit with Dr. Lutz. My vision care has special needs and as such I have been with an ophthalmologist in the Savannah, GA area for 30+ years. Often the MDs vision Rx is not sufficient. That last 4 or so in particular. Dr. Lutz is very professional and skilled in his prefession. The information he offers and the vision correction he writes is very precise. He is willing to take your feedback and make the smallest possible incremental selections for lenses. Really good stuff!

When entering the office I was immediately greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The staff walked me through all of the test and then I had a short wait until the doctor saw me. Dr. Steven Lutz explained all of my tests and was very helpful in answering my questions. He got me the right prescription and my eyes are feeling wonderful. If you are looking for a warm and caring staff who will take the time to ensure the proper eye care then you need to come visit Dr. Steven Lutz & Associates.

Dr. Lutz and the workers in this office are friendly and helpful! They make going to the optometrist a pleasant and simple experience. I dont even mind driving to the other side of town for my yearly checkup, even in rush hour. The office is inside LensCrafters inside Briarwood Mall! If you are coming from the outside of the mall, it is on the left side of Von Maur. Park by the side entrance on the left of Von Maur for the shortest walk!

Dr. Lutz is an expert and duke in the field of Optometry. His staff are professional and courteous. Dr. Lutz examined and analysed my vision better than the Kellogg Eye Center, and I got the best pair of eye glasses made in my life so far. Dr Lutz is kind, competent, personable and respectful. When I went to see him I had basically given up on wearing contact lenses due to severe allergies. He listened carefully to my concerns and came up with a solution that lets me where comfortable lenses all year round.I wish all my doctors were like this!

I had my very first eye exam today with Dr. Lutz and his staff. Everything was checked, glaucoma, macular degeneration and vision. Besides the exam, Dr. Lutz thoroughly explained everything involved with our eyes and its structure.
