Dr. Alcock from Lakeshore Animal Hospital literally saved my dogs life! My 4 year old dog was having trouble keeping anything down for more than 24 hours, so we made an appointment to get him looked at. Lakeshore Animal Hospital was able to get us in that day and put in the time to do an initial inspection, a barium treatment to check for any obstructions, and then they performed surgery to remove the obstruction they found. This was all in the same day! Dr. Alcock did a wonderful job locating the issue and fixing it in an extremely fast manner and she was extremely approachable. She even provided multiple updates throughout the day to help keep my mind at ease without me even asking for them. You could tell that Dr. Alcock has genuine passion for helping animals. I would recommend Dr. Alcock and Lakeshore Animal Hospital to anyone and everyone.

Our cat, Bug, first went to Lakeshore Animal Hospital with very little body fat, a dry nose, and a miserable disposition. They found some serious problems with her teeth and were able to do an incredible job restoring her to a healthy happy kitty. They gave us a very accurate estimate for oral surgery that they were able to stick to post surgery. They called us to check on our cat, and we were asked to bring her back a week later just to check on how she was healing...free of charge. Today our cat is healthy and happy, thanks to their care. I truly believe they love animals, are very professional, knowledgeable, and wonderful! I highly recommend Lakeshore Animal Hospital.

We switched to Lakeshore Animal Hospital after we were misdiagnosed at a different vet and I wish we would have gone with Lakeshore from the beginning. We had heard that Lakeshore was more expensive than other vets but they were very comparable to the other local animal clinics. Plus, when we were having major stomach issues with our lab, they would call us daily and did not make us come in for an office visit for everything, which saved us money. They are so accessible, knowledgeable and caring. I am confident we are in great hands and know that our lab is well taken care of.

For over 15 years we have taken our dogs to Lakeshore Animal Hospital. I love how fast they can get you in for an appointment and how they will work around your schedule! They have a genuine love for our dog and the atmosphere is very friendly! Our dog was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) a few months ago and although it was a very sad day for us they were encouraging and gave us the information we needed to have to best care for him. He is still hanging in there! From the Vets, Vet Techs, to the Office Staff - They are all Great!

I have been going to Lakeshore Animal Hospital for 13 years now. We just got a new puppy and her first visit to the vet with us was on Monday. They spent over an hour and a half with her checking her pervious charts, (which were from her two vet visits with her breeder) vaccinating her, making sure we understood when to give her the heart warm, tic, and flee medicine, and of course lot of puppy love. They have a very friendly staff! I now live in Grand Rapids and travel and hour to take my puppy to the vet. It is well worth it!

Perfect place to bring all your pets for their medical needs. The minute I enter the door I feel so welcomed. From the reception staff to the technical staff and doctors my furry friends receive the best of care. My pets are an extremely special part of my family and I expect the highest quality of care which I do receive at Lakeshore Animal Hospital. I started taking my dog to Lakeshore Animal Hospital 6 years ago and have been extremely pleased with everyone that works there. My dog has chronic ear problems and they were able to get his allergies under control, something our previous veterinarian was not able to do. The doctors and staff are all friendly and very knowledgable. They have helped me with so much over the past couple years, especially since my dog is starting to show signs of his age, and I am grateful for them.

Friendly vets and techs. A little on the pricey side and they tend to push alllll the shots they can, as soon as they can (which I didnt like) we had our GSDs shots spread out and started later than recommended by them, just from experience and how I chose to do things - shes happy and I felt better about not loading her up with hundreds of chemicals when she was just a few weeks old. Decent overall for whats available in the area.

I have been taking my pets to Lakeshore Animal Hospital for over 10 years. The doctors and staff always go the extra mile for my pets. I had a very ill kitty and the doctors sent me for a referral to help get me the answers I needed. Unfortunately I had to put my kitty to sleep, but they were there for me every step of the way. When I was ready for a new kitty, they even helped me find a new furry family member.

Lakeshore Animal Hospital always addresses me and my pets by name. One of my pets is on prescription food, so Im in a lot, and Im always welcome and treated with respect. I am very comfortable taking my three cats there, and am very happy with how the doctors and staff have handled questions and cat-related problems throught the years.

Dr. Hutchinson and the staff are all very professional and caring. Our two cats and dog have gone there for years. Ive gone to many other vets in the area with previous pets and knew after my first visit that this place was the best. Howie (our dog) is always excited to go to the vet! That speaks volumes.
