Please stay away from this place. I had been a client of Eastside ever since I had to start seeing a "lady doctor". For once a year check ups the place was okay - I mean, I only went there once a year so I never had to consistently deal with the office to the point where I was overly concerned with service. Well, when I became pregnant, by default, I went to this office and let me tell you it was absolutely the worst experience of my life. I waited over an hour at EVERY appointment to see a doctor. One time I waited 2 1/2 hours just for the doctor to come in and tell me that they scheduled me for a wrong appointment and I didnt need to be there and she wouldnt be seeing me. No offer to even do a heartbeat check or ask how things were going out of courtesy of the fact that I had been waiting TWO AND A HALF HOURS for something that wasnt even my fault (even though she tried to somehow put the blame on me). I was absolutely furious. I had a talk with the office manager and she assured me nothing like that would happen again. My next appt came to get blood work done. Again, I waited over an hour for blood work that should have taken a half hour AT MOST! The front desk didnt know how to read their computer notes and were telling me I was not in the system to get blood work done. I went back and forth with them until I finally demanded to see the office manager (again). Behold, I WAS scheduled to get blood work done and she said she didnt know why her staff was telling me I wasnt. If you havent caught on by now, this place absolutely drops the ball when it comes to communication. There were several more instances but these particular ones were my breaking point that led me to switch to Womens First OBGYN in Royal Oak which is absolutely AMAZING - especially compared to this place. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this office at all costs. Once I started telling people about my experience I came to find out a few other acquaintances had problems with their pregnancy at Eastside as well and ended up leaving the office entirely. I would not be surprised if this office is no longer in existence in a few years... yes, its that bad.

I would not recommend this place to anyone!! 1) They mixed my test results up with someone elses - TWICE! I had a nurse call me and tell me I was positive for an infection I wasnt even tested for. Then when I went in for my appointment, Dr. Nehra tried scheduling me for further tests for this infection that had no test results present - just the notes from the nurse that called. His excuse "sometimes computers get confusing." WHAT?! Moreover, it looked like he was going to begin my exam before putting gloves on - thankfully the nurse was paying attention. 2) You better take a full day off work when you make an appointment. Im no stranger to doctor visits; however, I waited 1.5 hours for two appointments I had (I only had 3). One was new patient so I gave them that. The second was a routine prenatal check-up. Not ok. 3) The records department is a nightmare! It took over two weeks to get them to transfer my records to a new practice - I finally had to go pick them up myself. 4) Its nearly impossible to talk to a live person on the phone. 5) The ultrasound tech was very nice, and we got some very good pictures of our little boy! 6) Jen the midwife we met with was also very sweet - she had me thinking about staying for a minute. 7) Kimberly at the the Roseville office was extremely helpful in finally finding my records and getting them to me. I wish everyone there was like her!

I have been a patient of Dr. Hall since I was a very young lady (over 20 years) and have always found her to be a very patient, informed, knowledgeable and doctor. From the very first "safe sex" talks when I was younger, through prenatal care, ongoing gyn care, and most recently, a hysterectomy, Dr. Hall (and any of the docs/midwives at the location) have always provided exceptional service. All of the women in my family prefer this office for their ob/gyn needs. One area that needs improvement though is the knowledge of the front office staff. I have had in-office experiences where they have told me to call another staff member for assistance, when that staff member was right there in the building able to answer my question right then and there. No one likes to be given the runaround. Also, Ive had experiences where me or my daughter have had appointments scheduled, and they told us they didnt. Good thing I was a bit assertive and asked them to check other lists, and they were able to find the appointments there. That was a bit frustrating. However, I dont come to the office to deal with the office staff, I come for the docs, therefore I didnt take off any stars for the lack of expertise in office staff.

It is ok! I love the Dr.s in the office however I have an issue with how they write their clients! After being on maternity leave since September Ive made small payments when I can buy for them for a dr.s office where you have an established relationship to write and say they are going to terminate your file Bc you cant pay the money you owe right away is tasteless! This is why I am going to start looking for a new office. I was almost hurt reading a letter saying that my Drs office will stop providing me with quality service if I cant pay them the entire amount. Everytime I call to schedule an appointment inatead of them saying we wont schedule you an appointment Bc you have a balance they give me the run around or start trying to get me to go somewhere else! So Ill pay you your money and find a dr. That wants to provide quality sevice to their clients even when they cant pay a balance! I was blessed to have the money to make the payment but disappointed to receive this letter.

I am only giving a 4 because my midwife Hillary Brass and Doctor McCarthy are AMAZING! Other than that they are very slow but I figure its because they are always booked up. Very clean, some of the nurses are super nice, others have the "lets get you in and out" vibe. I recently had problems with billing and it seemed like they kept brushing me off and it turned into them sending me a bill and letter saying they would have to terminate me as a patient 2 months before my due date bc THEY didnt know how to properly bill my insurance. Once my insurance called and got them straightened out, the problem seemed to disappear as far as I know. I dont really care for the ultrasound tech so I started scheduling my ultrasounds on 23 mile, very far but worth it. The one here is very dry and she doesnt seem that friendly. She gave me two pictures of my baby and you couldnt even see it. For what Im paying I would be fine with 1 decent pic but 23 mile takes care of me.

After receiving a commendable word-of-mouth referral from a friend, I decided to switch to Eastside as my new OB/GYN. However, I was upset at the lack of customer service, timeliness of followup calls, and disorganized and dismissive staff. You will be forced to leave multiple voicemails that are returned by their staff at their own leisure, wait at least 30 minutes in the waiting room and then 45 minutes to see an actual doctor. I was mis-scheduled to see my doctor who wasnt available or in the office on the day of my appointment to only be rescheduled to see a completely new doctor at the last minute. Unfortunately, the half-sincere "Were sorry for the inconvenience" I heard many times from the staff will not correct the mis-treatment I received as a patient of their office. Do not waste your time.
