I absolutely love this dentist office I would recommend anyone to go there!! My husband, son and myself have all been there on separate occasions for different things. My husband, and myself both were seen for emergency tooth extractions. When we called the ladies at the desk were so friendly and got us in asap. When we arrived we were both in excruciating pain, they called us back very promptly, and made us feel comfortable. Dr. Max and Kim make a great team working quickly and efficiently together. They also discussed a dental plan with us with whats the most important and broke done the cost exactly. We actually leave having a great visit which you wouldnt always think would be the case when you arrive in pain. Also my son who was 6 at the time had a very bad experience at another dentist office ( not bright side ) . This left him being scared and nervous of the dentist. He had an accident at school which had left his front adult tooth chipped. I again made another appointment getting him in promptly. They again made us feel super comfortable while there. This time they both explain things to him carefully making him feel at ease. Making it à very pleasant experience. Please make an appointment here I promise you wont regret it. Calebs experience. .. I had to get my front tooth fixed again. The ladies called me back like 30 seconds after i got there. I got my teeth cleaned first. Then Dr. Max and Kim started fixing my tooth. It didnt hurt at all . I really like Dr. Max and Kim there really funny. My tooth looks so good now. It doesnt even look like my tooth was chipped at all. I even got a new toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, and two prizes from the treasure box! ! Awesome! I cant wait when I grow up I want to be a dentist too.

Today I took my five year old son to the dentist and lets be honest for every five year old its a bit scary. Not only was the dental assistance SO very kind to him they made him feel so much better simply by being nice and talking to him rather than just me. They may not be just a pediatric dentist but I would have never guessed they werent. The dentist herself and her assistant were so gentle with him and patience and explained things to him in a way he felt ok with the whole procedure. Which honestly isnt my son he tends to be a little scared. Today they found an infection under his tooth and unlike most dentist that would have you come back after they do your x-rays and exams she wanted to do the procedure today to prevent any pain he is having. You can genuinely see how they care about their patients. From the front desk being so helpful with my crazy insurance issue today and having my son have his tooth pulled without a tear and without being the least bit scared without me there by his side, thats how comfortable he felt with them within just a short time. I would highly recommend this office to anyone with or without kids. Let me not forget to mention the scheduling. Ive called numerous dentist for him within the past week. They got him in within a few days compared to the estimated two weeks I got from anyone else. They were also quick to make the next appointment as soon as next week before any further damage is done to his other tooth. So happy with this experience. FIVE STARS to the great staff for making my son one of the kids who likes the dentist instead of fearing it! See ya next week!

The office staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and informative. I walked in at noon and had an appointment for 3:30 the same day…UNBELIEVABLE for a dentist office. One of the friendly front desk clerks, Jade, made sure that I was fully aware of what I needed to bring to the appointment and was really welcoming. Once I was called back (not more than 5 minutes after my actually appointment time), Liz took my x-rays and had me laughing the entire time while still remaining professional! I’m not one that is nervous at the dentist but even I had forgotten that I was about to have my teeth cleaned. The hygienist, Renee, made great conversation (as much as could go on) and made the cleaning fly by with her friendliness. Dr. Max was very thorough and made sure that everything was good while being just as friendly as everyone else. He even added on a consultation for braces without an appointment! He made sure that any questions I had were answered and explained my options fully. The office manager Sarah was awesome; she explained again how the braces process would work just to make sure that I was fully informed and then explained the pricing and how payment would work. On the way out, Jade was just as friendly as when I came in and explained my invoice to me so I understood all the charges. I cannot write enough good things about this office. If you are looking for a great dentist office, look no more. This is the one for you. -Chad Lang

I have been a patient at Bright Sides St. Clair Shores office since September 2016. I needed extensive work done, and after previously leaving 2 other dental offices in frustration, I made an appointment at Brightside for a consultation. Within the first few minutes I knew I was someplace with caring people. Dr. Max Gryztelius spent well over an hour with me that first visit, patiently explaining my options, listening to my fears, answering my questions, and made me feel completely at ease. (I had left those 2 other offices I mentioned above because I felt rushed & my questions were either glossed over or answered with "dont worry about that" type of responses. ) It was because of Dr. Max and his wonderful manner and professionalism that I was able to move forward with what I needed done. Since September I have had close to 30 visits. (I did mention above that I needed extensive work). All of my appointments were set quickly, sometimes same day if it was urgent, and never once was I made to feel that I was inconveniencing the staff, Dr. Max or the other dentists in the office. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and caring of Dr. Max and the entire staff at Brightside. If you have a fear of dental work, or have been made to feel unimportant at another dental center, please give Brightside in St. Clair Shores a call. I can tell you with complete confidence that you will be happy you did.

Hello! My name is Diane Barrett. I am a business teacher at Cass Technical High School in Detroit. I am a new patient at Bright Side Dental in St. Clair Shores. The staff is truly exceptional! Sarah, Kim J., and Jade were very helpful, kind, and patient towards me.
