This place killed my beloved dogs 4 unborn pups after I had clearly expressed that I did not want anything done to her that could harm her or her pregnancy! Today I took my dog here to be spayed, microchipped, and to get shots. Upon arrival I expressed REPEATEDLY my concern that my dog may be pregnant (something we just began to suspect the day before). Having no animal medical knowledge, I asked the employee there several different ways if it was safe for my dog and her pregnancy (if she was indeed pregnant) to be spayed . I was assured by her each time that it was not unsafe and I was told I could find out if she is pregnant when i picked her up at the end of the day. I went as far as noting my concern for the safety of my dog and her possible unborn pups on the paperwork I filled out and I even pushed to have the girl ask the vet look at her in regards to possible pregnancy right away before I left her there that morning. She said that he may be able to feel the pups if she is pregnant, but even if she is that he may not feel them. She agreed to ask the vet to feel her abdomen for puppies. She brought my dog back to the vet and returned saying, "he didnt feel anything but you can find out if shes pregnant when you pick her up." I was assured they would have an answer when I picked her up at 5pm because, she said, "When they go in to do the spay they can tell." Well, at 5pm i got an answer... But not exactly either of the answers I had expected. After pushing for the information, i was told, very coldly, that my dog "WAS pregnant with 4 fetuses" but they were aborted during the surgery and that fetuses can not survive a spay - A FACT THAT I SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE OF PRIOR TO SURGERY. I most certainly would NOT HAVE SPAYED HER AT THAT TIME IF I HAD BEEN MADE AWARE THAT HER BABIES WOULD DIE!!! When i spoke to a worker about it I was told the information is written in the tiny fine disclaimer print on the back of my paperwork, however that was a complete LIE. That information is NOT on any of the paperwork, but even if it was I should have been given proper information when I asked...I left little to be misunderstood asking REPEATEDLY, "So if she is pregnant can she be spayed and it wont hurt anything?" To which i was told "no it will be fine. They still do them." Furthermore, even if this girl was not well trained and somehow did not know this vital information, HOW DID THE VET MISS MY VERY VISIBLE NOTE TO "PLEASE CHECK FOR PREGNANCY"??!!! My 21 year old daughter, who had been waiting in the car, went inside to further address what had happened. The person she spoke to had a HORRIBLE ATTITUDE and was completely unprofessional, especially considering the delicate situation (and the tears rolling down my daughters cheeks as she walked in.) I am just sick about this. Unfortunately I can not get the lives of those puppies back, but hopefully I can warn others so no family ever has to grieve like we are. Tonight myself, my husband, my four children, and my dog are mourning the murder of 4 defenseless puppies.

We took our teacup Maltese here because we read that they are the most affordable place we can trust with our dogs health. All wed heard was true. We paid $239 for a dental cleaning, four extractions, de-wormer, four vaccines, and microchipping. She was done in 5 hours and we were able to pick her up after 7 due to post-anesthesia observation. The employees all treated her gently, lovingly, and with professionalism. The number one thing you need to know going into this place is that its not like other vets, or even other clinics youve been to. All About Animals Warren works like an assembly line. Its very confusing coming into the building and they need to add signage to make clear where patients are supposed to go. You enter a hallway with two signs: wellness clinic and spay/neuter clinic. It doesnt matter if youre spaying/neutering, thats where you start. Then one goes to a line directly to the left to get the paperwork (again this isnt clear, I went to the wrong line to begin with and eventually had to ask an employee where to go; employees are routinely going into the hallway to break up dog fights because people dont follow their rules about leaving their dogs in the car). After filling out the paperwork you go to another line to turn it in and discuss procedures, then another to pay. At this point you get your dog and take him/her to the wellness clinic side and sit down until a vet tech comes and calls your pet name. They should explain this process more clearly because I was confused at every stage of the check-in. Finally, in response to a previous review: someone complained that the clinicians aborted her dogs puppies in the process of a spay. The check-in document specifically has you initial a permission to abort fetuses if a dog is found to be pregnant during a sterilization procedure. These permissions you sign are even highlighted to make sure you notice them. Always read what youre signing, no matter if its a loan or a vet appointment! Overall, I strongly recommend taking your pets here for medical care, but I believe they could improve procedural things for patients.

This place came recommended by several colleagues and family members due to their professionalism and prices for vaccines and spay/neutering services. First I took my cat to get vaccines and I had no problems getting quick service met with friendly volunteers/staff. As a result of this service I signed my cat up to get neutered. When I arrived for the drop-off I will admit that I was a bit overwhelmed by the magnitude of the in-take process. There were rows of cats lined up along the wall and lots of owners waiting for paperwork to be completed. The process moved relatively quickly so I was in and out in approx 15mins. Upon dropping off your pet they do ask if they discover fleas during surgery do you want them treated and of course one would say yes because who wants fleas on their pets or in their home. It wasnt until I picked up my cat that I realized why they asked me about fleas because upon pick-up they notified me that my indoor kitten had fleas and they had treated her for $20. I was cool with that. It wasnt until my kitten continued to scratch after she got home that I got concerned about her still having them. I took her to the vet a few weeks later (i have never had any experience with fleas so was unaware of the timeliness needed to control population/spreading). Based on the paperwork I provided the vet from All About Animals I was told the flea treatment was a one day treatment?!? My kitten still had fleas as a result which cost me an additional $100 for a three month treatment and house spray. So what was an inexpensive approach in the beginning cost me more money and time in the end. Dealing with fleas is not worth the cheaper price. In hindsight, I realize that placing all the cats so close together likely instigates the spread of fleas while they wait for surgery. I am not sure how they can correct this but they need a better system for ensuring their clients dont get fleas. Moving forward, I will not recommend their spay or neuter service to friends and family but will recommend them for vaccines.
