My baby-boy Dodge and I have gone through 9 different vets. No one has met my needs, for the very precise lifestyle I have raised my puppy on. He was a rescued pit-bull, and gets very timid around new people. Though he does not bite, he barks, and his voice is very intimidating. Vanessa met him for the first time, and the way she acted was just.. amazing. She had won over my pups heart, almost instantly, by sitting on the floor and showing him there is nothing to fear. My pup later had a surgery done by Dr. Bana to remove a mass and broken canine tooth from his jaw. This surgery was ranging between $1-2k at other vets, and I walked out with paying under $500. Then, they even scheduled FREE visits to keep an eye on him every week for 6 weeks after. And cant forget my two favorite counter girls! I have a second pup, named Salli, who likes to escape into the nurses station in the back.. And they never get upset! They pick her up, love on her, and watch her for me until Dodges appointment is all settled. And could never forget to mention the fast, and caring, help when my dear Dodge decided to celebrate valentines day early and ate AN ENTIRE BOX OF CHOCOLATE! They wouldnt allow us to leave until they knew he would be okay. I will never go to another vet. This entire staff is just.. amazing. If my dogs can trust you, I can trust you.. and my two fur-babies love everyone there!

After having a horrible experience with Parkview, I found my friends at Hoover Road Animal Hospital. I have been going to these caring folks since 2012. They have taken excellent care of my dogs Lucky, Sasha and the devil dog Blue. We have since lost Lucky due to old age. Sasha will be 16 in April 2017 and that in part has to do with the excellent care of this wonderful clinic. Our Pit Bull Blue is a special case. He needs to be put under just to have his nail clipped and i trust them explicitly with his care. I would recommend the vets, vet techs, and office ladies to anyone, as they treat their patients as they would their own furchildren. Their fees are very reasonable also. I have read the other posts and I take high offense to Jasons remarks. In the many years, and many visits I have had with these remarkable people, never ONCE have I had to complain or feel cheated in any way. I would publicly like to thank the crew of Hoover Road Animal Hospital for the wonderful work they do. Thank you!!

Ive been taking my cat to here for many years and they always say something different about what was wrong with my cat. The veterinarian said that two teeth where bad but when they did the surgery they only took one but charge the same amount. She was itching her fur away around her ears and neck so they said she had food allergies after numerous tests. Started her on new food that they recommended which was almost $50 for a 8 lb bag! A few months later the itching was back and much worse. Ive spent alot of money with them (thousands) and my cat never seem to be back to normal, just more problems. I felt she has been suffering for long enough and we decided that we had to put her down. Once again this animal clinic wants to get evey penny they can and charge way too much just for a shot even more it you want to be present. By the way the doctors never seem to stay too long so its always someone different to deal with. I cant recommend this place for anyone who is looking for answers.

I have never seen such compassion for my furbabys and willingness to work with ppl than Hoover Road Animal Hospital!!! They did EVERYTHING possible to help my kitty get well... the Dr. sat with me explained in complete detail what was going on and if I had questions they all got answered!! When everything that could be done for my sweet furbaby (they did everything possible) we decided he had to be put down and the Dr.s and Staff treated us with the utmost respect...beyond our expectations!! I just read through the reviews and I COMPLETELY disagree w the most recent post Jason posted...I have been going here for YEARS and that post is SO far off from how the drs. and staff operate!!! In my opinion from MANY experiences here we are blown away by this vets office!! I hope people read my post along with others that have had an outstanding experience!!! Hoover Road Animal Hospital Keep up the great work we are forever thankful for everything you have done for us!!

This vet lied to the judge claiming that I was asking him to lie on a vet note even after I continuously told him that I just needed to know if it was ok for my dogs to be fixed or not since my vet said it was not and the judge does not believe my vet( I even have a voice recording that proves hes lying). After I went to a second vet for their opinion, I got a half yes half no answer, so I went here to get a straight "second" answer and this vet told animal control and the judge that I was vet hopping to get a vet to write a note saying my dogs could not be fixed which was not true! I got my female fixed after he said it was ok and had an appointment to take my male in today! Because he lied, animal control took my dogs from me! Please take your dogs elsewhere! This vet charges too much anyhow! My vet is WAY cheaper! Besides is it worth losing your best friend and family member because he doesnt understand plain English?

I cannot say enough great things about the staff at Hoover Road Animal Hospital! Not only do they make you feel right at home, you can feel how much they genuinely care about their patients. My dog Olivia has been going there for everything from vaccines to her spay since I adopted her. She has some fear and behavioral issues that cause her to have a serious case of stranger danger. I was never made to feel that my dog was bad or an inconvenience even when she displayed aggressive behavior. Everyone from the techs to the vet were so professional and confident in handling the situation and eventually gained her trust! Unfortunately, I lost my cat recently. I received so much love and support from everyone I encountered. They truly felt my loss as their own. Never will you find more caring people to take care of your babies!

We took my dog Audrey here after being refereed by a friend. Audrey had been sick from months prior and no one could figure it out. Dr. Bana was amazing spend out 40 minutes with us trying to figure out what was wrong. Came to the conclusion that she has an ulcer in her stomach. When on medicines after we tried everything we had to put our family dog of 10 years down. They made a plaque for her but her in a nice box and everyone from the staff wrote every nice messages on the box. I do not live close put I will take every single animal that I have for the rest of my life there. They truly do care about your pets and the quality of life for them. Thank you to Dr. Bana and your amazing staff. Will recommend to everyone
