We were very pleased with our visit. We have a 12 week old kitten and I came home from work to her in severe pain and not able to walk. We immediately took off to the vet. Coon Rapids had no openings and their emergency vet didnt open until 6. It was 4:30 and our baby needed help. They got us in right away! They were very professional and constantly made us aware of what they were doing and what the cost would be, asking if we wanted to move forward. They did xrays and had to put her under anesthesia to fix a severe dislocated hip. They reassured us multiple times she was okay and called to let us know the second she was awake. We were told an estimate of 3+ hours depending on other emergencies and we were out wishing 2. They Sent us home with pain meds and even refunded us money due to it being cheaper then expected. Our baby is resting and slowly healing. I highly recommend this vet to anyone in a pinch with a new baby and not familiar with the area. They were very respectable and super helpful when I was desperate to help my fur baby! 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Last night was the second time we needed to bring our dogs here for emergency services. The first time the staff was amazing and took excellent care of our boys! Last week, both of our dogs got fixed at our primary vet clinic. A few days after the surgery, one of our boys, Tucker, had his stitches ripped open. We brought him to our primary vet and was told there was nothing they could do and to just put a bandage on it. The hole was about an inch wide, and there was "nothing they could do." Well the hole got bigger later that day, and his intestines started falling out! We brought him down to Affiliated Emergency Vet Services in Blaine, and we were not disappointed! The staff once again was incredible!! They took such good care of our puppy! Needless to say, we will no longer be going to our primary vet. We will be bringing our fur babies here from now on! We are very impressed with the staff and the care we have received during both of our visits!

Most un professional place i have ever been. Im a new dog ower looking for advice in a time of need. They where no help. All they wanted to do is take my $120 for exam and tell me to go home, the dogs bleeding toung we cant do anything for unless we put him under and that will be over $500. Called coon rapids emergency and they did not even have to look at him. Talked to them on the phone and they told me what to do and how to clean the area and said call us if it realy keeps bleeding. Coon rapids was more about telling me i dont have to worry, do this and call if it dose not work. They told me this happens a lot and we send a lot of people home after exam. She took detailed info over phone and my dog is doing great 1h later. Blaine just wanted my money. Very poor. I will be telling everyone to stay away from here.

Our 20 year old cat had been diagnosed with beginning stages of renal failure several years ago. We brought her in for emergency treatment when her condition had suddenly worsened. The staff was compassionate and caring to both our cat and ourselves. Following treatment, we were able to enjoy an additional month of quality life with our beloved cat before we had to bring her back in for their help to transition gracefully. The staff was very compassionate and empathetic. We felt they gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. The staff explained everything to us every step of the way and helped us share our cats passing with dignity. During a difficult time, the staff went above and beyond to lessen our grief and we truly thank them for it.

I have been to this clinic many times, with two large dogs who are generally anxious at vets, and every experience has been a positive one. They have a caring staff and always addressed our issue with quality in mind (never felt rushed or ignored). While slightly more than a general vet, the price was very reasonable keeping in mind that these individuals are working very unusual hours with specialized training. The friends of mine that have gone here have always felt this way as well. We will always choose this vet for the emergency needs of our furry friends.

My situation like a lot of people was really complicated and too long to put in a review. All I can say is this emergency vet office lacks a real sense of compassion and the office staff doesnt know what theyre doing which can be a life-or-death situation for your pet. Someone really needs to report them to the veterinary board and Im seriously considering it myself. Stay away from them and find another emergency vet to take your pet to when youre in trouble. Even if it means driving a little further you will be better off in the long run and so will your pet.

DONT TAKE UR BABIES HERE. Put simply: they just want to take your money. Took my kitty there and after a checkup they came out with a treatment plan to help understand what was "wrong with her". Aside from the outstanding bill, the plan was not even suitable for her. My kitty fell and kinda lost sight in one eye, but they wouldnt even take that into account and dictated that she has an unknown condition and knocked her out with antibiotics. AND they dont allow you the option to say, "Id rather not choose any treatment plan and go somewhere else."

Even though our most recent visit ended in the loss of my 17 year old cat, there are not enough good things to say about our experience. Simply put: the vet was very realistic, matter of fact and compassionate. We were given a comfortable and quiet space to say our goodbyes and also received a card at our home shortly after. I had brought my cat to this emergency vet before and had always received great service and care. Also, if you compare urgent care/clinic prices for yourself VS going to the emergency room, the prices will be higher.

Very rude and not compassionate! While waiting in the lobby somebody came in to pick up ashes and asked where their collar was. She very monotonelously said "oh theres a collar?" Also we came in during a hard time with our dog and she suggested putting our dog down if we couldnt afford to pay for testing! Excuse me?! Not very sympathetic! Ended up getting painkillers to bring home and all was well. But dont jump to conclusions on what we can do or whether we can afford to pay for things! Not satisfied and will never come back!

Tonight the front desk girl was extremely rude. Gave me a dirty look as soon as I walked in. Could not answer a simple yes or no question without giving an attitude. This place obviously does not care about pets because according to her, they are not willing to even talk to concerned/uncertain pet owners unless there is a definite financial emergency service being provided. She is obviously not fit for the job if people walk away feeling unwelcome. Raise your hiring standards? Disgusted.
