This place continues to surpass my expectations. Their customer service is top notch -- for both eye exams and purchasing the right glasses. Yes, the glasses are a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. I have tried other stores, online glasses companies, etc. and nothing compares to the quality and service that Art of Optiks provides. They also take VSP (insurance) which is great and they are very knowledgeable on how to take full advantage of our benefits. From the coffee that I am offered when walking in the door, to the hand-written thank you that was sent to us after a visit -- Art of Optiks cant be beat.

I think I was just a poor customer fit for this business. Im not part of the eclectic crowd and dont need to spend $1500 on a pair of glasses just so I can hang out and have a latte. I am a surgeon that needs a good pair of glasses with minimal hassle. When all was said and done, I had been to the store four times, sent the glasses back for new lenses, and spent about 3+ weeks just getting a new pair of glasses. Several other issues, but do not want to ramble on. It just wasnt an experience worth that kind of money or hassle.

Dr. Tim is the best. He researched and discovered a treatment for an eye injury I had some years ago (got poked in the eye with a pine needle.) Im still adhering to the regimen and what was once a severely painful episodic event, is now barely noticible. And he always has the latest gadgets. Men love their toys! I dont buy my glasses there. Way too pricey for me. I get the script and go to Sears.

SCAM ALERT! For some reason I suddenly had a scheduled meeting in my calendar for a meeting with these fellows. The fact that I dont live in Minnesota. Or even in the united states for that matter didnt seem to prevent them from hijacking my personal calendar for their own twisted purposes. I believe theyre just a cover for some covert organization plotting for world domination, or worse.

Art of Optiks is the place to go for eye wear! They have such an amazing staff that is energetic and really knows how to help anyone find exactly what they need. They also have two amazing doctors who really have great expertise in their field and are very personable during eye exams. I would recommend coming here to get your glasses, you wont regret it!

Outstanding eye wear collections with a wide variety of selections and very professional and knowledgeable staff! Most thorough and comprehensive eye exams I have ever received. My family and I travel from northern Indiana to Wayzata for our eye exams every year. Wouldnt think of going anywhere else! Thank you Dr. Tim and staff for all you do!

Great frames, but total rip off. I scheduled an appointment on a weekend (exam) and was required to make a $200- payment up front to make sure I showed up on time. I did, but waited for someone to check me in for 40 min. (some sale). Lost my appointment and my deposit. Nice.
