I gave 1 star, because zero stars was not an option. 1st, the person receiving me was not able to take my cash for my copay. Why are unauthorized people still in training able to view my personal info and work on their own? 2nd, i left the clinic with nothing but a referral, which i was told they would send over IF i had trouble. Then was handed a brochure and told to make my own appointment. So pretty much nothing was accomplished. Whats the point of having a medical facility that cant treat the patient? 3rd, after telling the doctor that otc meds were not controlling my pain and that i needed a more powerful anti imflammatory, i was asked which pharmacy i would like to use. I asked which pharmacies were available under my insurance, which is an allina insurance, and i made a selection from the choices offered. I now found out that my allina does not work with Walgreens at all and Im out the provider portion for my prescription. Why would an allina clinic send a patient with allina insurance to a pharmacy that does not work with Allina? Definitely the last time i will ever visit this clinic

If your doctor isnt in the office, dont expect any questions to be answered or prescriptions to be sent to the pharmacy. I was diagnosed with diabetes a few days ago and THEIR NURSE gave me the wrong test strip refills, which of course I didnt notice until I ran out (saturday night), and my doc OF COURSE is out of the office. Its been 6 hours since I spoke with the first person whos supposedly helping me, and still no prescription sent over to the pharmacy so I can get some. I mean its not like I want narcotics or other controlled substances, I want Diabetes test strips! Regardless of what you are requesting, if your doctor is not in the office, you need to wait up to 3 days to get an answer.

Went to the West St. Paul clinic for several years. Had a very solid doctor, but his hands were tied as far as spending time and giving good quality care to his patients. It started to resemble an assembly line of treatment. He left and I soon followed. I am older (67 yrs) and remember when patients and doctors were treated with mutual respect. People giving this place good reviews are probably young and have no other experiences to draw from. I am so happy I left this HMO and fortunate enough to be a patient at the Minneapolis Veterans Health Center.

In general very good place Dr. Elizabeth was wonderful. She followed up on the tests I had done Wed.We agreed on a plan to deal with my pneumonia and anemia. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from the staff that I had low hemoglobin and needed to go to ER for tests that the good doctor and I agreed to have done in a couple of weeks barring an emergency......Why ? She prescribed some meds already.

I was diagnosed incorrectly here at this clinic and ended up in the ER with multiple pulmonary emboli. I was seen at Allina WSP 3 times in the month of April and ended up going to The Urgency Room because the doctors at the Allina WSP kept telling me it was just a bruised rib. I had multiple pulmonary emboli with infarction and I could have died. I will never go to this clinic again.

Very awesome staff here, Dr. Parker, Gal, and Kim are phenomenal. They remembered who I was, when I was at an appointment with my honey, and even asked how my recovery process was going. They follow up to make sure youre doing alright and have quick responses with MyChart.
