I have had awesome experiences with Smith Glynn Calloway (for the most part). The majority of my team f health care providers are located in SGC. I adore and respect my rheumatologist, my pulmonologist, and a barrage of other doctors and techs. The only exception was the experience I had with my last Internist and due to that experience I have outsourced an independent Internist not affiliated with Mercy. Staff at SGC are helpful, professional, and compassionate. I would certainly recommend Mercy & SGC to anyone seeking health care. I wanted to give 5 stars but due to my VERY poor experience with my SGC Internist and the downsizing at SGC that took away the front desk personnel and their services with assisting patients with finding where they needed to go and assisting disabled people like myself in wheelchairs by transporting to particular floors, doctors department pods, laboratory, and escorting wheelchair dependant people to and into their cars or transportation vehicles, I rated it 4 Stars

I wish I could give them a grade. I have not even seen them but my experience so far is not good. Heres why - I had an appointment set up with Dr. Manuel and on the morning of my appointment, I was involved in a car accident. I called their office immediately to let them know the problem. I even called the next day to try to make another appointment. I explained that I was low on my prescriptions (both very crucial to my health) and still unable to make an appointment. Since then, I received a letter from their office ( a form letter that they must not have even read!) that stated they were not going to care for me since I missed my appointment and "failed to call to cancel or notify them." I DID notify them. I am still waiting for the office manager to return my call. Meanwhile, I am out of important, life-sustaining medications. I will have to incur an emergency room bill in order to get them, thanks to their lack of communication within their office.

Always a great experience..... Dr Taylor takes time to listen to me and my concerns.... She has an understanding heart and mind. Nurse Marsha is the perfect nurse.
