My heart is heavy as I write this but it is necessary: My dog Ruby who has never had any clinical signs or issues of any kind, bless her heart in the 10 years Ive adopted her-awoke one morning refusing to eat food and vomited a few times. I can tell she was in pain by her trembling & panting. My family Vet was booked for the day & I needed to get Ruby seen ASAP. I took her to the new facility I remember just near my home. Dr. Cordray was her doctor that day and he was kind and compassionate. I explained the symptoms & he suggested X-ray and full blood work. We were able to get the results within 25mins and it came back that my Ruby had very high Liver Enzyme numbers. This concerned him very much and he explained that although the X-rays didnt show any tall tale signs, due to the blood work this was the game plan and he gave me 4 options of what to do next. He was specific, knowledgeable, and caring of my pet. What he suggested was spot on because when Ruby was taken to the ER Vet later that evening they did do an ultrasound still found nothing but over the next few hours fluid started to build in her belly. Ruby died in my arms while hospitalized but without the next steps and knowledge of the 1st Vet {Dr. Cordray} Ruby would have most likely died alone or suffered a great deal. Through an autopsy Ruby had a tumor hidden behind/tucked between the Gal Bladder that abruptly rupture destroying her Liver and releasing fluid in her belly. I was given the gift of TIME, to say goodbye to my best friend while she passed away in my arms. She was medicated from the discomfort but she died naturally. Im truly thankful for the entire process from 1st Vet to the 2nd Vet contacting me and letting me know my pet would not pull through come say your goodbyes. I was able to say everything I needed while knowing in the end she not only didnt die alone BUT the autopsy gave me closure/piece of mind knowing that nothing but a divine intervention could have saved her. It all happened so fast, one day she was playing with her toys and making us laugh to the very next day-completely lethargic, refusing food, vomited, body trembles, panting heavy, and discomfort without being able to sit/stand. If you KNOW your pet and clearly KNOW this is not her/his normal self--dont delay. Pay close attention to the signs and dont 2nd guess yours self or their needs. See a Vet that can get your pet the required help and the answers you need. I truly believe Dr. Cordray is a fantastic Vet! I thank him so much for his gift/talent of Veterinarian skills to be able to assist us when my pet was not herself and in need of medical attention. I LOVE & deeply MISS my Ruby. But, I am so grateful for the 10 years she indeed blessed me with.

Very disappointed. I brought my dog in for a possible UTI. The Doctor was very good at explaining each test why he wanted them and what they were for. He wanted to do way more than was needed, but I can not blame him for wanting to provide the best possible health care. I settled for an antibiotic and some diagnostic tests. Results for one of the tests were to be in the next day. After not hearing results after 48 hours I called. I was told the Doctor would be made aware that I called and I waited. After a week I called again, Doctor was in with a patient and was to call me back. It has now been two more days and I have heard nothing. I dont feel I have high expectations of a Vet. I want appropriate treatment and communication. If you are unable to provide those two simple standards of care then you have no business being in the business of health, for animals or people. I am very disappointed and feel very much like I wasted the large amount of money on something I could have called a medical friend to get the prescription. Very disappointed! Not recommended. I will continue my search for a Vet that can meet my standards of care.

I took my rottweiler to Aliante Animal Hospital, to be put down. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but they were amazing. They were very good with me, and explained everything that was happening. They let me sit with my dog, before and after as long as I needed. My dog was my best friend, had her for 11 years, and I knew it would be sad and painful, but they did everything in their power to make it bearable... I put my dog down on Christmas eve and got her ashes back before new years. I also recieved a sympathy card in the mail from them, which I thought was quite nice. I was new to the area, as well, so I was taking a chance on taking her to a place I had never taken her before. The vet was very soft and gentle with her. He wasnt scared of her at all, which is hard to find, because she was a rottweiler. He even petted her to calm her, and I had never seen a vet do that with her. Thank you to all of you at Aliante Animal Hospital for making one of the hardest things Ive ever done, a bit easier.

Had a great experience with my big English Mastiff. The staff was very friendly and helpful in getting us checked in and into our very spacious and clean room. The doctor took extra care to explain everything to me before anything was done (minor ear infection) so that I could understand how my dog would be treated and what the cost implications were before we started. I was happily surprised that the doctor spent even MORE time with us after she brought him back to us while she explained everything they did. She walked through all his health concerns with us and made us feel very at ease. She was so patient and pleasant with us both (a mastiff after ear infection treatment can be slobbery) We will definitely be back! It doesnt hurt that this is one of the most beautiful vet offices I have ever visited!

Dr Cordray is the best vet in town. He has taken care of my family pets for several years. He is honest - trustworthy and so very knowledgeable. This Aliante Animal Hospital is very lucky to have him and I will continue to drive the miles to see him and to let him take care of my babies. I know when my pets need extra care and if the require a stay with him , he keeps them close and monitors them constantly. He always give me a very detail update about how they are doing and are reaponding. There just not enough words I can state about this man as he has been there for me during the good times and extremely bad times - but I know I wouldnt want anyone elses opinion until I received his first.

Love Dr Rubenstein and the staff. They are wonderful-from my puppies to my old lady, the staff has been so kind and helpful. They make sure to make the appts when I need them, and the office never runs late on appt times. So we are never sitting and waiting. Doc is sure to explain everything and is proactive on making sure all the medications are working properly and makes the needed adjustments. He is extremely gentle to our old lady pit /sharpei mix, especially knowing we will need to put her down soon. He takes extra care explaining things in regards to her health so we understand and know all of our options.
