A beautiful death for a beloved cat. "Beautiful" is perhaps a strange word to use for euthanasia, but I can think of no other. I had never been to Advanced Pet Care, choosing it only because they used the drugs I wanted for a quick, calm, painless death for Zen. I did not expect to be ushered into a small, softly lit room with couches, chairs and serene instrumental music. I am accustomed to bright lights, cold examining tables, the smell of disinfectant, when I say goodbye to my loved ones. But this was warm and soothing for both of us. Zen was out of my sight for only a minute when a catheter was inserted. Then Dr. Morgan and Marrisa came in, gently placing Zen on a warm towel in my lap, her head in the crook of my arm. Dr. Morgan knelt as he administered the sedative, the flush and finally the euthanizing agent. Zen died quickly, without fear, in a room so much like her own home. This is how death should be but rarely is. Bless Marrisa and Dr. Morgan for the respect and kindness they showed Zen, for allowing her to keep her sacred dignity until the very end.

We moved here from Chicago and wanted to make sure our pet had the best care possible. My previous vet (Bramer Animal Hospital, Evanston IL) recommended we only use a full service, on-site surgical and diagnostic facility. This hospital was the perfect choice! Dr. Behrens has had an incredible influence on our once very anxious/aggressive Chihuahua. Though we rescued him over 8 years ago, certain issues failed to diminish. Dr. Behrens advised trying a small dose of Prozac to see if it helped with these symptoms. Huge improvement! She also suggested that we include glucosamine chondroitin chews in order to diminish his occasional forepaw flare-ups - we have yet to see one limp since! He is truly a much calmer, more playful, and overall happier pooch since visiting APCNV.

I am a completely satisfied customer! Had my Chihuahua spayed here 4 months ago, and the experience could not have been better. The staff loves my pet as much as I do, and Dr Kalivoda is a Chihuahua owner herself, so when my pooch became ill last weekend I did not hesitate to call for advice and to make an appt. Fortunately my dog improved dramatically the day before the appt, so I called to cancel the visit and was treated with courtesy instead of being given grief for cancelling. They were just happy for me that my dog was better! I am looking forward 100% to our next visit, and just hope that it is for a checkup only, and not due to illness!

this rating is for the longley ln location (wont pull up in Google maps) I made an appointment with the longley location at least 2 weeks in advance to give my dog an injection for a medical concern. the front desk service was great, I was excited as I just moved to the area, the business looked nice and they seemed very helpful. I get to my appt, am seen 20 min after the appt was scheduled only to be told they didnt have my medication! unfortunately I would not recommend this practice as obviously none of their staff couldnt bother to check to see if they even had the medication on hand.

I never really thought about vet trips until I had to put one of my beloved fur babies down. Typically my parents would take all the pets to one vet, but they were too expensive for me. When it came my babys time to go, I took her into Advanced Pet Care. They gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye, were very gentle with me and my dog, and even sent me a condolence card with her ashes that was signed by the whole staff. Now I take my new fur baby here and have never been happier with any vet. I reccomend them 100%. I wouldnt dare take my baby ( and future babies) anywhere else.

Advanced Pet Care was extremely professional. I kenneled my dog here and not only did they take great care of him, but he came back happier than I think he has ever returned from an extended stay away from me. He was clean, and they provided me with a "report card" to let me know how he did while I was gone. They also gave me the option of recieving text updates about him which, although I didnt use this service, I can see how a nervoud pet parent would appreciate it.

Took all three dogs in for vaccinations. Two are nippy. They understood my concern over using a,muzzle and allowed me to assist in their care (I am a former vet tech, though). They were very careful not to over-stress my already stressed pups. They also managed to squeeze in our collie for a grooming even though the groomer was already overbooked. They gave great care! Bonus: they give military discounts and take Care Credit.

I have two dogs and they had never been boarded before, as I was always reluctant to leave them anywhere. After a couple of phone calls with the friendly staff and touring the facility, I felt assured to leave them at Advanced Pet Care for three nights. They were happy and healthy when I returned from my trip, so I feel confident in the care they recieved. I will definitely use the services at Advanced Pet Care again!

I took my dog there. I would trust my dog with Dr. Jessica but not with the head male dr. If Jessica was there watching him I think he would still be alive. If they had started surgery, he might still be alive. There are a lot of ifs. Always trust your gut with a vet. If your gut says take him to Dr. Jessica I would do just that. The nurses are amazing except for Denise. She has no business working there.

The staff at Advanced Pet Care is amazing. Dr. Kalivoda is extremely compassionate, knowledgeable, and helpful. She took care of my dog and my cat. The entire staff was always very friendly and would spend time explaining everything they were doing. When I had to put my cat to sleep, Dr. Kalivoda was so helpful and made me feel much better through the process. Best vet Ive ever worked with!

We ended up taking our cat to the Longley location (couldnt find it on Maps, for some reason) and it was amazing. Everybody was incredibly nice, treated our cat very well, and the nurse and Dr. Morgan were both very caring and knowledgeable. The facility was welcoming and incredibly clean. Plus the price was better than we were expecting. I would recommend APC to anybody!

Very quick response to my inquiry for an appointment. Staff is very kind and accommodating and the prices seemed very reasonable to me. After my dogs neuter they called me the day of to let me know he was recovering great, called twice over the next week to check on him and make sure he was doing ok at home. Very happy with the caring staff and the great facilities!

Excellent Vet! I switched over to this Vet from another large Vet in town and Im glad that I made the switch. I believe all of the people working at the Sparks location truly care about my pet and I trust that they will give my pet the best possible care! Prices are reasonable and service was outstanding! Doctor Cady is GREAT! Highly recommended!
