This is our first time here and I cant imagine a better place to bring our pet to... This place is nice and clean, everyone is friendly and our experience was truly wonderful! Edit: We received antibiotics for our pet and due to a technicians error we ran out of our 2 week meds, 1 week after we started. We called and they apologized, offered to rectify the error and gave us another week of antibiotics, however they didnt give us another week more they only gave us half a week more.. the very next morning I call and the technician Joanne rudely tells me that she gave me enough and that I dont know how to measure my pets medicine (Im a healthcare professional and I administer medicine to patients on a daily basis). She then proceeds to tell me that I need to squeeze the bottle because its all in there and hangs up on me. I go to the office after I get off the phone with her and she starts to scold me aggressively telling me that she gave me more than whats in the bottle and that shes sure and that I dont know what Im doing... after she rudely and reluctantly agrees to refill it she tells me "by the way, the managers name is Sue if you need to speak to her" with a sassy challenging attitude. Its really a shame they hire incompetent miserable souls like Joanne that stain the reputation and ruin the experience of such a wonderful facility with caring and hard working staff. Sue, the manager apologized for the poor experience and said she was sorry I felt that way, which bothered me because its not about how I feel, its how her tech actually treated me in front of other staff members and clients. I understand we all make mistakes but its not the mistakes that bothered me its the lying and handling of the situation that really ticked me off. I certainly dont feel comfortable bringing my cat to this facility as long as that incompetent and rude technician works there. It left a horrible taste in my mouth and it was very very disappointing because I truly loved the way our first visit went and how wonderful everybody was towards us.

Nesting Ranch

What a great group of caring souls - we have been to many central NJ vet offices and Dr. Feeney is tops. The front desk, reception, vet techs, theyre all so caring and compassionate. We adopted a senior dog Hugo who literally could barely stand on shaky little legs at the pound. After 2-3 initial assessment appointments and getting the medication and diet right our poor old man from the shelter is a galloping puppy some days six months later. Theyre trustworthy never trying to sell product or procedures only sound recommendations. Medication, safe exercise, and a little canned pumpkin in this case. Were so thankful for their loving care to help us assist him for a well deserved retirement. Our 3 cats are thankful too despite what you might hear. ^^

Ive been going to SVG for over 7 years now. The doctors, vet techs and staff treat our whole family (both the 4 legged members and 2 legged members) with compassion and respect. We have run the gamut...illness, injury, aging, new puppy and everything in between. Theres always a discussion about options and how much services and medications cost, so Im never blindsided at check out. I cant imagine taking my fuzzy loved-ones anywhere else.

Excellent Place!!!! Went there after having an argument with Banfields Vet and they treated me super good. It was cheaper than Banfield and tthe service was a million dollars better. The Vet seemed like a person who really cares and she was so sweet that my dog wanted to stay with her. Totally Recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weve been going to Somerset Veterinary Group for over 20 years. First it was for our Ferret, then our 2 dogs, now our 2 cats and a new puppy. Friendly staff, wonder Vets and Ive met them all. I would recommend them and do recommend them to my friends and family.
