Not understanding this whole younger generation of health care givers, but they absolutely need to a realty check. Its 8/8/2016 10:06am. The slightly older woman that first was working the desk at Same Day Surgery section of the hospital was absolutely a delight. She helped and answered with anything was asked. I want her thanked if she didnt leave before I got to. The young woman that replaced her at the front desk was absolutely rude and had no clue what was going on. I asked if I was able to run outside to contact my mother about my son having surgery and her response was "Your kidding right? The doctor is getting ready to come out he needs to talk now. So have a seat now!!" Now the doctor had just talked to me 5 minutes before that too tell me how everything went and that hes in recovery I can see him in 20 minutes. Which is plenty of time to make a phone call. She has glasses, highlighted hair, and is at the desk right now 10:05am 8/8/2016 at the Vineland hospital. Just completely made my waiting here miserable. She was also rude to an elderly lady that was coughing. She told them you have to go outside to do that much coughing your disturbing the others. And the lady had a walker. Totally unprofessional. I want to commend the first lady I saw and the nurses. They were great.

I had my daughter here, we came in when I was ten centimeters dialated, so I was all ready to give birth, and I felt very rushed. The doctor yanked out my placenta after I pushed out my daughter, which was extremely painful, and dangerous, I felt like I wasnt even a person. Then when I was in my room after having my baby the lactation nurse was really rude and short with me like I did something to piss her off even though Ive never seen her before in my entire life, and to top it off one of the nurses was threatening to call cps because we didnt want to stay for 3 days, I know in other hospitals that Ive been to, mothers who have given birth naturally can leave usually within 24 to 48 hours. I never want to go back to this hospital again.

I took my friend to the Emergency Room on 2/20/16 arriving at 8:53am, having being sent there by Inspiria Urgent Care in Vineland, because of possible TIA. After waiting ONE HOUR and 30 MIN. to be seen by a doctor, and then Waiting, without any good communication - we had the Displeasure of asking the nurse on duty for some update - and she was VERY snotty in her attitude, like we were bothering her! I do not think she was very professional, when we tried to look at her name tag for her name, she turned the other way and called a DR. to "handle this" This woman should not be a nurse around sick people. She needs to work in the morgue, where people cant see how rude she is

Very dirty. Trash on the floor in the waiting room and bathroom. No vending machines or coffee or drinks for people waiting in the waiting room. The cafeteria closes early and thats the only place with vending machines. They only allow two family members back at a time. Doctors dont keep visitors informed when waiting. My son was in the trauma unit for hours and no one could locate a pillow for him. He was throwing up and a nurse just walked past him. When I went to the nurses station to inform them he was throwing up, the same nurse that walked past him was joking with the other nurses how there was a patient in trauma puking. Worst hospital I have ever been in.

I gave birth to my daughter here a couple weeks ago, and I absolutely loved the entire experience! The service I received was hotel like (not trying to exaggerate). My nurses were always pending, making sure I had EVERYTHING I needed and that I was as comfortable as I could possibly be. Ive also received a thank you card signed by the nurses that took care of me and my daughter, which I think is so sweet. I really hope that the hospitality provided to me is not only provided in maternity, but in the hospital as a whole. If so, I entirely recommend this hospital.

I would like to thank the staff in the emergency room, critical care unit and ICU for the outstanding care that they gave to my Mother Lena Pierce on Wednesday April 13,2016. She was brought in having chest pains. She was taken in and found to be having a heart attack, In two hours she had went to surgery and placed in the ICU unit, Their response and how they handled the family was excellent.. Thank you to all of the doctors and nurses that was involved. There is nothing more precious than a mother, you saved our most precious gem, Sincerely, Patricia Mosley

I am in the Army and my sister happened to go into labor the day before I leave. I went to see my sister in the Labor and Maternity Ward. I only wanted to stay for a minute. They would not let me up stairs to see her. They tried to say she can only have 3 ppl. In her room at a time when it was only her and her mother in the room. Needless to say I left and never got to see her. This uniform ment nothing to them. Worst hospital Ive come across.

By far the worst experience Ive encountered at a hospital. One star is being overly generous. Unbelievable that a patient with head trauma can be released, from the ER by a nurse when he was not alert or coherent. It was only when we asked for a wheelchair, because he was unable to walk, that a doctor happened to show interest in what was happening. Now almost 12 hours later we are sitting in the ICU. Horrible bedside manor and service.

Will never go to this ER again!! Waited over 6 hours for my husband to be seen and to top it off when it was time for him to be seen the girl at the desk told me I could not take my 10 year old son in with me, mind you it was 5:30 am and we were there for 6 hours!! You think someone would of mentioned that while we were sitting there all night and somehow his name was "overlooked" Worst hospital experience I ever had!!

Been here since Monday and it is now Thursday! Nobody knows what is wrong with me every time I ask I am being told "it looks like this but could be this! or "I cant answer that because I dont know! What type of foolery is going on! How can you not know what is wrong with a patient? My nurses were the only good thing about this place!! Im currently looking into being transferred out of here right now 6/15/2017

Free coffee and Wi-Fi while waiting are nice perks. Parking lot was barely plowed (of snow), but that can be expected in a 24/7 operation (cant plow when cars are in the way) This place has some incredible technology though. Walk through the front door and youre transported to Central America. Why else would the magazines be in Spanish and Telemundo be on the TV?

they do not communicate with you at all! i waited 9 hours in the ER, 3 hours waiting and 6 in the room where they left me sitting and finally they discharged me and gave me nothing except an article. since being discharged i have no clue what to do as my case is very serious (ectopic) and i will never be visiting this hospital again if i can help it.
