STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL This hospital is understaffed, outdated and quite frankly insane. This was my last straw with this hospitals unprofessionalism and sheer incompetence. I recently stayed a 5 day stay due to a massive loss of blood, I also have a rare Liver Disease and need my drugs daily to well.. live. Not only did this hospital not call my current doctors at another hospital for reference or help with my conditions when I they had all of my info in their system and I told them everyday. They didnt give me all my medications for the conditions I was driven in by ambulance to take to stabilize. Its like they were hell bent on curing my conditions on their own and re diagnosing it. Which is very strange considering in my chart, their files and by my own mouth I told them they just needed to call my doctors. They still refused. When it came time to resume my medications they started re-prescribing the things they did deem worthy of me taking again and just nixed the others. Mainly that Liver Disease medication got the axe. The nurses were crazy and at times seemed unhinged or overwhelmed. Their CNAs were somehow worse. There actually came a point where they tried to force me to take a shot that would have directly caused problems with my liver disease. When I refused they were suddenly no longer in the interest of treating me anymore until I guess one of the doctors looked it up and found out giving me this drug with knowing my condition was lawsuit fuel. They also never changed my sheets in that 5 day stay, never gave me supplies or a space to wash up in, never gave me a meal when I was able to eat again ( not even water!) and used laughably outdated techniques for administering the other half of my diet which was by bolis feeds at night. (which was five cans of internal nutrients...... by hand.) At home I have a small pump for that and its only a rotary motor with a small calculator on it, connected to a pole! Not to mention they wouldnt let me be discharged until after I forced them to discharge me because I could not go another day without my liver disease meds without getting ammonia poisoning. At one point I even overheard the floor director yelling WE NEED TO PUT BODIES INTO THESE BEDS! To her staff noting the fact that there was barely any patients staying there. The place looks like the hospital from the first episode of The Walking Dead.... Now we know why. DONT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!!!

Horrible ER experience on a Sat night. Took my daughter in for injury to her hand. She was already in a cast for procedure done on her foot. She could not use crutches and needed a wheelchair. Parking lot was full so I had to park in main garage with no attendant in site or help carrying her from the car to the ER- quite a distance. Triage nurse and registration tech did not offer her ice for her extremely swollen hand and no pain medicine. Nurse came into waiting area and yelled out our name among 2 others waiting. We all rose to follow her. She did not greet any of us, no hello or smile. She yelled for us to enter the room number she called. I made a point to smile at her and say hello. The first time I was ignored. The second time she looked up at me and forced a smile as though she just remembered she was working with humans. After leaving our room she exited for her cigarette break. Upon returning from her break, she sprayed herself with perfume and I prayed she did not return to my room. Thankfully she didnt. After the doctor saw my daughter, he stated he would be back shortly with discharge papers. 20 minutes went by and no papers. I entered the hallway to inquire. My first attempt to ask was ignored by the 5-6 nurses/staff at the desk. Then I saw the doctor pack up his things and leave. I then asked again and was told by a nurse at the desk in a snarly voice- "Im trying to help you". When I was leaving with my daughter in the wheelchair, I asked how to get to the main garage as the ER lot was full. A nurse pointed to the door which was not automatic. I had to open it myself and work the wheelchair through with no assistance. As I entered the parking lot, I ran into the doctor. I complained about the service and he chuckled in response "its the weekend crew". He was unaware he was part of the "weekend crew"! I will never return here again.

I waited 6 hours before getting my room. The RN in the emergency room was very rude. He hooked up my EKG completely incorrectly, as another nurse later pointed out, which was probably why he kept saying it seemed irregular (which freaked me out). When it was finally time for me to go to my room, I had to listen to two nurses argue over who "felt like" taking me upstairs. The woman that drew the short straw was very rude and sort with me, and didnt look at me at all. For the next two days, i dealt with numerous rude nurses. They blatantly spoke ill of their jobs and coworkers in front of me, which I found unprofessional. Many doctors and nurses were rude to my boyfriend basically just for being there, when he was going out of his way to support me. Not to mention how long EVERY LITTLE THING seemed to take. One night, I buzzed the nurse for water. Just water. After about 10 minutes she finally came to my room and asked me what I needed. After telling her I needed water, she said okay, and walked away, never to be seen again. I waited AN HOUR before sending my poor boyfriend down to the water fountain to fill up an old cup for me. Another issue was that there is no Psychiatrist at this hospital. I had to wait 12 hours before finally speaking to a psychiatrist through a video chat on a tablet, which they first had all kinds of technical issues with, having every nurse on the floor trying to solve it which made me wait longer. I should have been discharged on that day, but because of all the useless waiting, I was not. Every doctor I dealt with was rude and condescending. The nurses were incredibly lazy. Im actually surprised at what bad personnel they allow here.

I had my first baby here and I wont ever again! Pro: -I didnt t get care from a actual doctor -I didnt get home supplies -as I was pushing they were trying to draw blood and take vitals (in which the nurse wiggled the needle in my arm ) -my body completely had swollen and I got a fever -they didnt prepare me or let me know it was time to push so that I could excused the room -you have to pay for TV daily and if you go into labor after TV hours you have to wait until 6am for operation hours -the room was The size of a college dorm room -there is no cafeteria -my discharge nurse was mean and rude and forgot multiple times to give me my medication -they forgot to collect my paperwork for my babies birth certificate -they dont validate parking so thats a hassle from multiple day stay -they didnt tell me how many stitches I got, the epideral wore off and I felt the whole experience (as she dug in my lady parts to extract blood) -as a first time mom there wasnt much communication during the process so i wasnt comfortable -they refused to give me the appropriate pain medication like every other hospital when you are discharge. Even though I told them I needed more. Cons: -Linda from L&d was so nice and cared about my progress. -Trudy from the nursery was more then helpful and patient. Update:its been a little over a week since Ive delivered and Im in serious pain,I called the doctors and they said they couldnt help! PLEASE DONT GO HERE IT WOULD BE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
