Oh my, I have never had a medical professional act the way Dr Ringgenberg did to me yesterday. I went in with pain and pressure during my pregnancy and she wanted to do a test. She asked me to push a button when I felt a cramp or contraction. I asked her exactly what she wanted me to do because the pain I felt was constant there were no actual cramps and she went off! Told me that if I was refusing to do the test there was nothing she could do and it was on me if I delivered a preterm baby...actually walked out with me crying because I didnt understand why she was mad at me I could do what she was asking because that was not what I was feeling! she sent in the nurse to deal with me because she couldnt be bothered. The nurse stated the doctor had been having a few bad days and felt like none of her patients were listening to her. This apparently had resulted in and emergency delivery in her office and a pts husband calling up stating the doctor was a liar. I ended up at Good Sam Labor and Delivery as the doctor suggested to find out she never called them to state I was coming in or why!! I have an infection that is causing this pain and received a call from the hospital this morning to confirm it. Shortly after received a call from Ringgenberg asking where I wanted my records transferred... She never once said anything about the infection or was concerned about treatment. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Taking frustrations out on other patients who are having complications because of what someone else did? Totally unprofessional!

I had been a patient of Dr. Ringgenberg for several years and when my husband and I decided to get pregnant I looked forward to staying with her throughout my pregnancy. We experienced a few problems early on while trying to conceive and I found the the doctor was rude and short with me every time I tried to ask questions. I am naturally very inquisitive and like to ask lots of questions, which I think your doctor should be find answering. She would cut me off and dismiss my questions every time. After I got pregnant I had one small scare in early pregnancy, so I called her office. They told me to come in right away, which scared me. So I drove there right away and then had to wait for 30 minutes to see the doctor, completely freaking out the whole time. I mentioned the long wait to the nurses and they just said it would be a few more minutes and told me to sit and wait. When I got to see the doctor she told me everything was okay but then proceeded to scold me for apparently being rude to her nurses and tell me how I could have just gone to the ER and waited there and that I cant just snap at people. What type of doctor is mean to the scared pregnant woman?!?! I was so upset when I left that I decided to switch doctors and never go back. If you like to be kept informed as to what is going on with your body, choose another doctor.

I have known Dr. Ringgenberg since 1981. She is a phenomenal doctor and an even more compassionate doctor. When in the hospital, the nurses have nothing but praise for her! A true testimony to professionalism!
