I recently moved to Cleveland from Texas with my 6 dogs. 3 are elderly so one of my first tasks was to find a vet clinic. A neighbor suggested one near my house. After one visit and a call to them with a question, I was not happy and started looking to take my dogs elsewhere. After studying many sources of reviews and looking at the animal hospital websites, I decided to try Westlake Animal Hospital. When I called to make an appointment, I knew I had found the right place. The staff answering the phone was knowledgeable about what I was bringing my dog in for. When we got to the appointment, everyone was so friendly, treated my pet so gently, and the doctor was very thorough. Granted, this was not a serious issue, but I feel confident that my dogs will be receiving the best care possible. Update: Everyone is so nice and professional. Staff takes their time and are very thorough. They were wonderful with my dog who is very fearful of new people and situations.

I have taken my dogs to Dr. Love for over 25 years. In every way, he and his team have provided outstanding care. Not only does he know everything about taking care of dogs at all ages, he has an amazing network of specialist that enhance the caring team of professionals who can take care of your furry friends. Today, Dr. Madden is also caring for our beloved corgi, Henri, and we could not be happier. You cannot go wrong with this wonderful group of people. They not only take care of your pets, they take care of you!

Our Field Spaniel and I appreciate Dr. Rex professionalism and kind manner. I also am grateful that she takes time to carefully and thoroughly explain procedures, medicines, and medical issues. The reception staff and veterinary assistants are consistently caring and interested in making the visit to the veterinary hospital a pleasant experience. This is the first veterinary hospital that our dog enjoys visiting. He cant wait to get into the front door; and he loves the attention he receives from everyone.

Saw Dr. Rex. Today was my first time at Westlake Animal Hospital. Both her and Krista ( her tech or assistant ) were thorough in exam and in explaining answers to my questions about my new puppy. In addition to the exam, both offered guidance in training and seemed to have a good knowledge of the breed ( giant schnauzer ). There was little wait. The practice was clean, used new technology, and well staffed. I would feel confident they could handle an emergency situation. Fees were reasonable.

I liked everything about your office. Everyone was so friendly and very helpful. The ambiance is so positive. Dr. Rex gave our Simon some hope that we will have him with us a little longer(Simons turns 13 in about 2 weeks). Dr. Rex listened to what I had to say and she gave us multiple options on Simons treatment. What I was most happy about is that she did the examine in front of us. At no time was Simon stressed. I definitely will recommend this place to everyone I know with pets.

I have been bringing my dogs to WAH for the past 23 years and owe them deep gratitude for the incredible care they have given to my four-legged children! My first lab Mysti lived into her 16th year and had a very healthy life. My current lab Josie is a happy and healthy 7 year old. Both of our cats have been going to Westlake Animal Hospital for 17 years. The medical expertise of Dr. Madden, Dr. Love, and Dr. Rex is top-notch and we appreciate the care and concern by all of the staff for our pets’ well-being. Tut is the 4th cat that has been going to Westlake animal hospital for her care in our family. As much as Tut hates going, they do a wonderful job with her! They take time with her and have a room specially for cats. They address any concerns a pet parent has and if you think your pet is sick or something, they will try to get you in asap

I love WAH, they took great care of my elderly cat until she finally passed away last winter. Dr. Love is pretty much the cat whisperer with my quarter-feral tomcat who has a bad history at the vet. I now inherited an elderly cat from my grandma and have a new 1 year old tomcat and I know they will be in good hands.

Became customers at WAH in December 2016 when we got two new puppies. Everyone here is amazing. Staff at the front desk, techs, and Doctors are all so wonderful. I find comfort knowing and feeling like everyone here really cares about my dogs. You cant put a price on this feeling. I would highly recommend them.

The veterinarians and support staff are professional, super friendly, animal lovers and people friendly as well. Our 2 dogs love going there as we get to stay with them during the visits and they get treats when given shots or anything that will make them feel uncomfortable. Thank you Westlake group!

I have been taking my handicap cat here for several years. When I was a child my parents took their cats here too. We have been supporting Westlake animal hospital for 20 plus years. Everyone communicates well with the pet owner. It is nice that all workers love the pets that come in!

Everyone is sooooo friendly, supportive, competent, and caring. What more could a mutt ask for? And the staff sense of humor is fabulous! I always leave feeling better. Tootsie does as well, with her smidgen of cheese for being well behaved. She even gets a treat if shes misbehaving.
