My gut feeling about this place was spot on from the moment we arrived. Our appointment was delayed by 40 minutes of sitting in an uncomfortable waiting room. My furry older child was very nervous and would not stop shaking. They tried their hardest to be nice, and so did I. My Lola had anxiety the whole time, and they never addressed it. The techs were helpful, the front desk was not staffed appropriately. The doctor was nice but was a pill pusher $$$. She didnt thoroughly inspect the patient. It felt rushed only to be diagnosed with cancer. Wanting to do surgery as soon as possible. Never giving proper recommendation for treatment or preventative measures. I didnt feel right about this place. I definitely did not want to return for surgery. We felt like we needed a new place to bring her for treatment. I didnt want to subject my family member (not creature) to this place again. We found a new place called Westlake Animal Hospital. They were prompt and no wait time for a scheduled appointment. They immediately picked up on my little girl being nervous. They comforted her and made sure she stayed by our side the whole time. They gave her treats of cheese and baby food to distract her and to help make her feel like its a reward. They treated her like royalty as she was fully inspected during the exam. The shaking stopped, and it worked. We found out it may not be cancer at all, and we will do a biopsy to make sure. No surgery is needed at this time, if at all. Just a tissue sample to be sent to a lab. We were instructed if it was, what type of treatments and preventative measure should be taken. Made me question why we werent given these instructions before. This place was top notch and paid far less than Porter. Needless to say, you maybe content with this mediocre place, but there are better Vets out there.

My Mother-in-Law took our dog to this office for a medical emergency while we were away on vacation. To be fair, she had very good things to say about the place, as did our regular vet. However, when we returned, I tried to contact them for over a week leaving 3 messages for someone to call us and follow up; first message was a VM and the other two were with Lisa who seemed to not even recall speaking to me two days prior when I left the second message. Each time, she said that the doctor was in surgery and should call me at the end of the day but I never heard from her. Anyway, they may very well be good at what they do, but with the lack of communication theyve shown a disregard for us as patients and we have decided to find someone else to treat our dogs ongoing issue.

My Pug Elmo was recently diagnosed with Bladder and Urethral Stones by my Vet. in North Royalton. He could hardly pee from the stones that started to create a blockage, so i was quoted a price that was way out of my income comfort level by my own vet, so i checked around and was told to try Dr. Lizs Porter hospital . Dr.Liz quoted me a much more affordable price that i could not refuse. I left my pug overnight for the procedure and picked him up the next day and paid a great price and now my dog is all better ever since. ....I would go back to this place , good service and pet care for the price.

Dr. Liz and her staff are wonderful with our large GSD, I think he would enjoy hanging out with them all day. We came in with a lengthy history of issues from the past 6 mos. She listened, never rushed, asked questions and pieced it all together. She made us feel comfortable and welcomed, so did her staff. We have been returning weekly (even a few times a week) for laser treatments, they are always friendly and happy to see my guy. It is a great feeling to walk in with my wallet and not fear the checkout!! ;-) She has made great care affordable for my guy. Thank you!!

Originally brought my rescue here bo jengles after a few vets had no answers for me. Dr Liz did many tests etc to try and find the problem and solution. Even during surgery I called the clinic and they were so kind and patient with me. I have since brought another rescue there she takes her time to thoroughly examine your dog & answer any questions you have! And now Im taking my 3rd dog. Highly recommend this place. The staff is so caring & friendly, prices are extremely reasonable compared to many other vets around!

They went above and beyond for me & my cat- her declaw/spay was scheduled for a day they normally dont do it accidentally and instead of rescheduling, they came in on their day off so she could have it done- they also called multiple days later just to check up on Kalua & see how she was doing- amazing place you can trust to take good care of your pet because its obvious they care about the animals that come in there! Plus they are super affordable- 5 stars forsure.

My cat had surgery at the hospital where Dr. Liz said that the cat will have a good time after surgery which was not so. After 4 days I expected to see good signs but has not been as Dr. Liz said, the cat began to feel increasingly worse. I called for emergency and no one answered me or call me back. I had to go to another hospital where they could not save my cat. Thanks Dr. Liz for the good time that you said that my cat will have (in heaven)

Multiple last minute cancellations (putting my animals health at risk) and the receptionist is VERY rude. Receptionist has no problem telling clients WRONG information about shots being offered OR bad mouthing local companies that she has no knowledge of. the vet is nice but has a flakey personality. Some of the information and procedures she recommends make me think shes in it for only the money.

Thank you Dr. Liz and your great staff for opening a caring compassionate clinic. It is great to have a clinic where you dont feel like a "number" like I did at the large mega clinics that are all around. As the " roommate " of rescued cats I also applaud the clinics compassion on the feral cat issues... Again, thank you for having a clinic that feels comfortable for both people and pets !

Have been taking both our dogs there for a couple years. Dr Liz is wonderful. Our beagle Charlie had a bowel obstruction at Christmas and had to stay there and miss his first Christmas with us. Dr Liz took time away from her family to check on him and sent us a video of him. You cant get that kind of compassion elsewhere. Have to disagree with ANY bad review.....

First of all they wont let you go back there with your animal. My dog has bad anxiety and waiting 30 minutes before they even acknowledge you are there, stressed him out. All I wanted to do was stay with him to calm him down and the vet said no. I have never heard of this before. This place has gone down hill fast. Overbooking and not passionate for animals
