We chose AGH for our new Cocker Spaniel puppy, Emma. She was just as excited to meet everyone as they were to meet her - and she loved it. Heres what her parents thought: When we called to make the initial appointment, we were very impressed with how helpful and nice the staff were. They answered all of our questions, and were able to make an appointment to do a complete exam just two days out! When we arrived for her appointment, the staff was polite and eager to meet Emma. There was a bit of a wait, due to several emergencies, but they did a great job communicating the reason for the wait and offered numerous apologies while keeping us updated. They were obviously, and very genuinely, worried about our first impression - something that we felt was just as surprising as it is uncommon. They spent a great deal of time talking with us, addressing concerns, and answering all of our questions; they were just as thorough when it came time to do the full exam on Emma. At no point did we ever feel as though they were in a hurry to get in and get out - it was obvious that they enjoy what they do and take whatever time necessary to get it done. We loved that their treatment approach is not just all about the pet, but the pet parents as well - and that they also offer grooming so that Emma can visit her new friends often. Bottom line: we absolutely love AGH and feel confident in their ability to take care of Emma for years to come. We thought the cost of services was exceptionally fair, given the experience we had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We are very pleased with Animal General. We have been bringing our dogs (and cat) there ever since we moved to FL. The staff & doctors are always so pleasant, sympathetic and accommodating. They love and care for the animals as if each of them were their very own. They take their time to explain everything so you understand, and give you the best options for care. Even when you have to say goodbye to your beloved pet, they give you all the time you need to be a peace with your decision and get in that last hug and kiss. Our kids were able to understand that our dog went to a very special place called "Rainbow Bridge" where he no longer was in pain, can eat all the bones he wanted and can run in a big green field playing ball forever and ever. Animal General gave each of our kids our pets paw print and a piece of his fur as a keepsake. Although it was sad to say goodbye, Animal General made us comfortable through each step of the way. Thank you animal general for caring... thank you for being their voice.

My name is Fred. I am a 10 year old Yorkie-Maltese. My family got a chip put in me when I was just a baby so I could be found if I ran away (who would leave them?.) They started wondering if the chip was still there, so they took me to Animal General to find out. Yup, it is still there and they didnt even charge to look for it. Usually I get a shot or they look at places I cannot mention, but they are always nice and hug me so I wont be scared. Once I had a sore paw and it really hurt. They gave us medicine and now it is okay.My mom said she likes them because they always explain things. I like them a lot. Tell your mom and dad to bring you to them and they can fix you right up. So happy I followed a friends recommendation to try Animal General Hospital! The staff at the front desk was friendly, competent, and helpful! I was asked them to compare some pricing for different heart-worm/flea treatments and they quickly/looked it up. I was very impressed with the vet tech who took my dogs history too. She was quite knowledgable. The female veterinarian that I saw was personable, knowledgable, and listened to my concerns. She walked into the room with a cheerful smile and was very welcoming to both me and my dog! She answered all of my questions and seemed to really enjoy her profession! I also liked the location of the office!

Beautiful, clean animal hospital with a friendly staff. Dr. Gonzalez is extremely knowledgable and professional. I took my dog to two other vets and neither could diagnose him correctly. Finally, when I was referred to Animal General Hospital by a friend, Dr. Gonzalez was able to diagnose my dog within 10 minutes. She saved my dogs life. If youre looking for trustworthy, caring doctors for your pet, Animal General Hospital is it. I highly recommend them to everybody I know. Im so happy I found an amazing doctor that I will take great care of my dog for the rest of his life.

Our dog Baxter has been a patient of Animal General Hospital for the past 10 years and I am happy to say they have taken wonderful care of him over the years and we are most grateful. Dr. Edmunds and her staff are always very pleasant to deal with and have always had the patients best interest in mind. Dr. Edmunds has offered great suggestions, both from a medical standpoint and holistic view, on the best approach for the pets optimum health. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice to anyone who really cares about their pet.

The most amazing Vet office ever. Dr G is the most compassionate vet I have ever met. A heart of gold on top of being an extremely intelligent woman. She knows her stuff and if its something she doesnt she will find out. We have had some really bad experiences with not so great vet...Dishonest and think they are to good to do a little more research! NOT DR. G and her staff! They go over and above! I could not recommend a better place for your fury babies!❤️

Excellent diagnosticians and surgeons I highly recommend them to everyone. The very special needs of some of the pets I have rescued over many years get the Very Best and highly skilled care from Dr G and Dr Julie. Over the many years that I have been rescuing dogs and cats, these are the only vets I am so confident to take them to. So many other vets are less skilled, less compassionate. All of the Staff members are pleasant and professional as well.

My first visit to see Dr. G and staff, they were all so nice and welcoming. Everyone was happy to answer any questions, listened to all my little complaints, and had all the answers. Very professional, knowledgeable, no pressure to buy any products, gave great advice. I have found my little "Bentley" a great Dr. and wonderful staff to take care of him, and they also do grooming. Very convenient too. Thanks so much for getting us in so quickly.

Weve taken Teddy to Animal General for the past seven years. They love my handsome boy as they call him and went to great lengths to help him get past all of his crazy allergies. They even recommended a diet that they didnt carry (raw diet) and that has made all the difference. The staff cares and really becomes your friend as well as your best friends friend. Love you guys!

I tried to have a dental cleaning for my 14 year old dog. 2 trips, and 500.00, later they had done everything but. Including trying to convince me that the pain was from an arthritic neck and not his mouth. Now I am out 500.00 and my dogs MOUTH is still bothering him. Oh, they were getting to that I was told... Not if they were the last vet...
