From the moment you make the call for the appointment till the actual visit takes place and your questions and problems are resolved, you will encounter nothing but friendly, professional, knowledgeable people who will embrace your every move. I recently drove 2.5 hrs to Animal Clinic Northview on the advice of my local vet. I own an 8 yr. Old English Bulldog who had chronic tail fold problems. Pain, infection, smelly tail folds.Prior to the trip, I had taken my Bully to 2 different vets as well as the OSU Vet Hospital. I was told the problem was chronic and was most likely going to result in a tail anputation. Once at the Clinic, i was lucky enough to be introduced to Dr. Greenfield. He was gentle with my bully, asked many questions, gave me info on the whole tail fold dilemma, and indicated the only solution would be to amputate the tail and close up the folds. Of course I was going to have to make a very difficult decision about the surgery, but this seemed to be the last and final way to relieve my bullys painful tail fold problem. Now, here we are 1 week after surgery and skipping along just as planned. There were a few minor bumps in the road post- surgery, but I never felt anything was out of control or that my bully was in any danger of passing away. I knew he was in capable hands with Dr. Grernfield and his wonderful staff. Dr. Greenfield kept me informed and up-to-date every single day with no less than 2 phone calls to me daily. He was always available for questions. One of the most impressive things about the Clinic is they operate 24/7. I was so relieved to know my 11 p.m. phone calls would be answered promptly and that the person on the other end of the phone would be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My bullys stay was extended 3 days due to diarrhea and vomiting. I expected my bill to be out of sight but was very surprised and happy to learn the extra stay was not much more especially for the extra meds, tests and 24/7 boarding he received. I am highly recommending the Animal Clinic Northview for whatever pet needs you have. It operates like a hospital for humans taking care of your pets every need. Ive been in URGENT CARE CENTERS that arent nearly as friendly, professionsl, and efficient as this clinic. Your costs are quoted up front and they take any credit card as well as cash and personal checks. What a top notch, well run facility. I am so thankful to have them close to my home in Ohio, as I witnessed 4 different licence plates from all over the U.S. in their parking lot during my visit. That speaks volumes.

Never will I step foot in this place again. The only reason I went there is because my vet does not have emergency services. My 165 lb mastiff suffered from Bloat. The 2 options were to put him down or do the emergency surgery. Obviously Id do whatever it takes so we opted for the surgery. Received a phone call during the surgery saying they found "spots" on his spleen and recommended they remove it. The lady on the phone was rude and seemed irritated because it took me so long to make a decision. My boy was there 3 nights for the recovery process. I dont think he was well taken care of during his stay. Wed go twice a day to visit, he could barely stand on his own and wouldnt walk, even to me. We went to visit one day and his paw was so swollen from the IV in him, I had to point it out to the staff. Its their job to notice these things, not mine. We go to pick him up that Sunday, with a 2 hour notice and there he was laying in his urine. Who knows for how long. They made sure I signed a consent form stating Northview and staff is free of responsibility/liability if your pet becomes ill, refuses to eat, soils itself, etc. Then I get the bill for $5400. NOWHERE near the price range they told me. I asked to speak to someone about this outrageous bill and due to it being Sunday and no staff from billing, I left my name and number for them to call me to discuss this. Never got a phone call back. And forget about Care Credit, its "special financing" from Northview is only for 6 months. Yep, at $900 a month I can pay that off and not get charged interest. What a joke. The only Aftercare instructions I was sent home with was his list of pills he needed to take. I wasnt told when he needed to come back to get his 30 staples out of his belly. Pretty important information wouldnt you think? Guess it doesnt matter because he died one day later. Now Im out $5400 and a dog. Thanks Northview.

The Sunday before Christmas our 10lb Chiweenie was attacked in our backyard - 20 feet from our door. So fast we heard nothing and noticed nothing until he came in with his tail glued to his underside. I picked him up and noticed blood and multiple bite marks. With our regular vet closed I raced online to find a local hospital and called Northview. They told me to come right in and theyd be waiting. We were all in shock as we made the 10 minute drive. The second we walked in it was a well oiled machine there. They quickly treated his wounds, got him on IV fluids and got him stable. They came back to update us frequently - patiently answered our questions and ultimately let us say goodbight to keep him overnight. The next day we were able to take him home - the jugular had not been knicked as concerned for. He was well wrapped in a sparkly vest of bandages. He was badly wounded and bruised but he was going home. Two more laser treatments, 5 staples and fancy bandages later he was recovering. At each checkup Dr. Taylor and staff were genuinely glad to see him and aga8n patient with our questions. Just before Christmas day they sent him home in a black sparkly bandage tux vest complete with red bow and buttons. Dr. Taylor removed his staples tonight and congratulated us on a great recovery. I cant say enough about the genuine friendly and concerning, caring nature of the staff here. They are more than doctors and staff - they love what they do and the animals they care for. They are Javas family now. Thank you for saving the life of our dog Dr. Taylor and everyone involved with his care. It was a Christmas to remember.

Back in October of this year I rescued a dog from being tethered outside all hours of the day. I rehomed him twice and the person prior to his current home left their back door open and little Remmy (then 10 months old) was hit by a car. The girl took him to west park and they said his leg would need to be amputated or put him down. I talked to several people and they directed me to animal clinic northview. I picked Remmy up from west park and took him right to northview. There I met Dr Taylor. I told her from the beginning I refused to put this puppy down and so whatever necessary even if it was an amputation needed to be done. She informed me of what needed to be done and the seriousness of the surgery. She comforted me through one of the toughest decisions (personally and financially) I had ever made in my life. Two days later she performed the surgery. I was a nervous wreck throughout the entirety and as soon as she finished she called me. When I say I was beyond pleased with this surgery it is an understatement because Dr Taylor went above and beyond. She called me daily and to my surprise helped me find Remmy a brand new home. My dog is slightly dog aggressive and I couldnt keep him but was willing to collect money and contribute myself to give this puppy a second chance. Remmy is now Wendler and in his forever home running and playing with 3 legs. If it wasnt for Dr Taylor I first wouldnt have this puppy to still enjoy and second he wouldnt have the best home I could have asked for. She and the staff are amazing and made this hard experience actually very calm and comforting. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
