Poor Chu chu has been through so much this last two weeks we finally figured out on Sun. that the Vet Prescribed the wrong amount of Antibiotic which my Son was on for his ears Cepha at 2 times a day 3 tablets which means she was getting 450 mgms a day more then she should have & she vomitted for 4 days & I quit giving it to her when I went on line & figured it out. I am so upset with this vet! It could have killed her. When you over dose on Antibiotics it stops your immune system that automacitally fights bacteria from working. & they only gave that to her as preventative which in people they no longer do. Because in todays world they found over prescribing antibiotics makes your body unabhle to work the normal resistance. She finally ate riooce tonight & she shook for two days I could not get anything to stay down. I am so saddened by the negligence of this vet that will not forget me. She has to go back & get all her sutures out tomorrow. I am just so happy she tolerated her rice tonight. I love my Chula & if anything happens to her because of their ignorance they will pay believe me. I felt so horrible for my girl.

Words cannot express how amazing Dr. Wendy and the staff of village vet treated my little Maltese after being attacked by a large Shepard. It was horrible event to witness. He shouldnt have survived. 4 puncture wounds to abdomen, then slammed by nap of neck onto sidewalk. Drain tubes, well monitored for nearly s month. On two seperate occasions required several overnight stays, including weekends. Amen to Judy. After all of this, Wendy insisted on his first grooming. Shots were also brought up to date. He left only with attitude, Doc explained "little-dog-syndrome". realize most of all, another vet would have "put him down". He passed nearly two years after. "Elvis, my first dog", was a rescue. Truth be told, he rescued me. Thank God, for Doc and staff, for saving, my furry little soulmate. Fees were third of other vet that suggested to end his life. Words cannot express. Thank you x 100!

I love this Vet. On a Friday evening I was notified I needed a certificate stating my cats are up to date on their physicals and vaccinations in order to complete an out of state apartment leasing agreement. With having less than 24 hours to get my cats into a vet, I frantically called over 20 vets on a Saturday morning hoping someone had an opening or cancellation. As soon as Village Vet opened, I called them. They were able to fit me in that morning. My cats were examined and vaccinated. They gave me all the paperwork I needed as well as paperwork I may need to travel with them. They gave me advice on how to travel with them and what to do to help their transition in our new home. Again, very last minute on a Saturday morning they went above and beyond considering I didnt even have a scheduled appointment. If I wasnt moving out of state, this would be my permanent vet.

All they care about is money. Just the look tells that this is not a good place, we made the terrible mistake of taking our loved pet there because he was not eating. They had other pets freely walking around throughout the clinic without anybodys supervision, they kept my pet overnight and sent him home with medicine that did nothing good, as the days passed by our pet got worse. We called them concerned that our pet was not getting any better, the staff kept telling us to call later every single time, because they where too busy.... two days later we ended up taking our pet to a different vet, and they had an actual diagnosis, but unfortunately too late too treat. We believe that Village Vet NEGLECTED our pet and because of this we will NOT recommend this vet to anybody if anything we will keep telling everyone about our tragic experience with this vet.

We have been going to the Village vet since 1996. We have had animals to care for since the mid 70s, so we have been to many vets. Some were quite good, but none rise to the bar Dr. Wendy sets as a level of care for your animal family members. Not all episodes have a positive outcome. Case in point, we had a dog (Belle) the came down with leukemia. Nothing could be done. The Belle stayed over one night so she could be evaluated and stabilized. I happened to be going by to an appointment and Dr. Wendy was walking Belle down the block @ 7:30 am. She sat on the front step and loved her up some before going in. We love her.

Paid $90 for an exam of our Havanese who had clear issues. Vet told us she had no issues. Not going back. We pay money to relieve our animals of pain. We dont pay money for an easy non-answer. Dont get dogs groomed here wither - they always shaved our Havanese, claiming hair was too matted every single trip. New groomer doesnt feed us that lazy excuse. Much happier with new vet and groomer cause the bar Village Vet was so low. Maybe their mission is to make other vets and groomers look really good - if so they are doing a great job in that regard.

For yearly checkups, this place is fine. If your pet becomes ill, expect to pay a lot of $$$ for services, testing and unnecessary medications. I felt no urgency or compassion from the vet when our dog became ill with cancer. The vet would talk condescendingly to us and wouldnt thoroughly answer our questions. It was a constant frustration for my husband and I as the communication from the vet was terrible (wouldnt return phone calls or call us with test results). We switched vets and couldnt be happier with our decision.

Terrible place that takes advantage of people that love animals. Wont ever go back. Told me one price on the phone then when it was time to pay the price tripled.
