I was nervous about dentists, but for the first time, I know Im ok when Im in the hands of Dr. Nic Grasvik. I had a broken crown and I thought I was going to have the tooth pulled, as I didnt think that there was any way a crown could be put on it, because there was hardly anything left. Dr. Grasvik examined me and told me he could absolutely save the tooth and add a new crown! I was so relieved! I really like Preferred Dental Care because they are leaders in dental technology in Portland and have the best tools to do the job, and are trained in the latest techniques. I couldnt believe how quickly it happened. I have had several crowns before moving back to Portland, and it had always taken a long time and sometimes they dont fit and you have to start all over. But this crown fit perfectly and I was on my way! Another thing I like is that the office is very well managed. I never have to wait and they are always busy. Whoever does scheduling does a great job. Most of all, I like and trust Dr. Grasvik. He is a great dentist and as smart as they come. I also heard that his grandfather was an oral surgeon, so it must run in their family. I also got my teeth cleaned and that was a great cleaning too. Im glad I found this office!

Have you ever had a dental experience where the dentist or hygienist made you feel bad about the current state of your dental health, as though they were judging you for not having flossed regularly, or mocking the anxiety youve had around dentist appointments since you were six years old? PDCC is not that. Dr. Gasvik and his team are kind, caring, and professional in everything they do. In the past, my interactions with more "corporate" dental companies have been mostly negative. I am thankful to have become a patient at this practice where the focus is not the bottomline, or how many patients can get in and out as fast as possible. The focus is on me, my health, and the care I receive. Virginias upbeat personality at the front desk gets the appointment off on the right foot. And she goes out of her way to get follow up appointments scheduled around your busy life. A huge shout out to Kim the hygienist. She talked me through the entire process, and alleviated so much anxiety. Anything I needed to be more comfortable, she did it; pillow, blanket, music, whatever. She. Is. The. Best! Oh, and Dr. Grasviks great, too!

Although Ive only been a new patient for less than two months, Preferred Dental deserves the commendation it has rightfully earned, a full five (5) stars. Victoria at the front desk always has her warm smile and friendly demeanor on point. She genuinely wants to help in any way she can, and has made everything from scheduling to payment easy and convenient. Its always a joy being greeted by her. Kim, my hygienist, has always made me feel calm and informed during our sessions. I always leave with new information, tips, and tricks I never knew. Shes diligent, methodical, and kind throughout the vulnerability of teeth cleaning and better oral health. Dr. Grasvik, who Ive only interacted with once thus far, is willing to take the necessary time to make sure patients are inspected and given a green light, all while making sure my questions were answered. So yes, I do highly recommend Preferred Dental. These staff members mentioned, along with the other team members, make it possible to enjoy dentistry and good oral health.

My first visit with this group and I could not be happier. Thanks to all the group. Doctor Nic Grasvik, you have a great outlook towards your patients ,explained every thing that was involved with options to consider with no rush and sales . very good hands and hardly any pain. Thank you Sir. Thanks to Lisa very nice conversationalist and knowledgeable on her duties. Really put me at ease during the procedure. And last but not least Thanks Virginia. Virginia was very friendly and competent, From my first contact with her she was thorough and and explained every thing on the business side of the house ,was prompt on replys by e-mail all in it was a pleasure chatting with her. In conclusion, I could not have been more pleased. Lets face it no one likes to go to the dentist but this group of people made it easy. give them a try.

Been coming here for about a year based upon a friends recommendation. I was dealing with quite a bit of pain as I had not seen a dentist in quite some time. I knew my teeth were in bad shape. Exam done and Dr. Grasvik took care of the urgent issue immediately. We then discussed the needed work for the rest of my mouth and set up a schedule that took into account my yearly insurance allowance. He and the team are incredibly patient, personable, professional and friendly. The staff is always great. I love walking in and being greeted on a first name basis with a genuine smile like a friend not a customer. Scheduling is flexible and costs are very reasonable. I can say that I will never visit a different dentist. Do yourself a favor and visit Dr. Grasvik and team.

I started going to Preferred Dental about a year ago, and couldnt be happier with them. At previous dentists, I always felt shamed about my dental hygiene. At Preferred Dental, I dont get any sense of that, and I get the sense that they are genuinely interested in my dental health, and look for plans to help ensure that my teeth stay healthy. I wish I had started seeing them sooner! Their location is great, in downtown Beaverton, and the only caution I would have for them is that their parking lot is a bit cramped - but there is ample street parking available (I would recommend parking on the street). Their front desk staff is very polite and helpful as well. I dont think I could provide a higher recommendation!

Dr. Grasvik and his wonderful front office and dental teams deserve, if youll pardon the dentistry puns, a crown or plaque for their exceptional service. When you walk in, youre greeted with a friendly smile and are offered to help yourself to a complimentary beverage. The wait time is always minimal and the waiting room is comfortably furnished. The hygienists are kind, gentle in their techniques, non-judgmental, and informative. Likewise, Dr. Grasvik is very personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely appreciative of his patients. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Preferred Dental Care Center. Just dont wait until tooth hurty (2:30) to make that appointment!

I went in looking for an honest opinion about a cavity between two teeth. I had been previously told two conflicting theories about the severity of the cavity. Dr. Grasvik and his dental team were all very professional. After looking at the x-rays, he explained what he would do if it was his mouth. He would not fill the cavity at this point in time but only if it becomes worse. I appreciate his honesty and would recommend anyone else looking for a dentist with their patients best interest in mind. Honesty and Integrity are becoming harder to find these days when everyone is all about the $. That is what makes me sure Ill be back to see Dr. Grasvik. Phil

I had my first visit today to see about getting a wisdom tooth extracted. The process from start to finish was extremely easy. Everyone seemed like they genuinely cared about my oral health. They made me feel welcome and made sure I was as comfortable as possible through the whole process. Dr. Grasvik was very professional and very nice. I can tell he is a talented dentist. He was able to get my tooth out with very minimal pain and pretty quickly too. As someone with high anxiety who dreads the dentist, I couldnt be more happy with how everything turned out. Will definitely be coming back!
