I am a huge fan of GenTech in Clackamas. Dr. A is great. Very professional. Well, the whole staff is. I can get in pretty quickly, and they will work with my busy schedule. The first time I met Dr. A he did try to sell me a whole mouth implant but I refused. They took it from there and (fast forward to today) at this point I am doing fine with what I have. I do take issue with the poster who wanted just a cleaning and was upset because he/she got an exam instead. Some people just dont understand how this works. You CANNOT get a cleaning before the exam occurs. There is this funny little thing called a treatment plan that must be set up after the exam. Then the cleanings start and if you need a deep cleaning that is first. After that you do have to wait a bit to get to the regular cleaning and this is because the gums need to heal and settle down some. These things must go together in a very specific way. I have a friend that went there for a root canal and it turned out that the tooth had to be pulled. She blamed them for this. I say, "that is your fault girl". Then she blamed them for getting a dry socket. Well, she is a smoker and refused to cut back or quit during this time. Guess it was more important to her. So, here is my message; do NOT blame these guys for what you create or what you expect to have even if it cannot go your way. Expectations always get you in trouble and lead to problems. I went to this clinic several years ago and because my workplace insurance changed I had to leave and go elsewhere. Now I have yet another new insurance at work and have been able to return. I am so happy I am back and I really enjoy this office, these folks, and the professional way they handle things. I also love the up-to-date equipment and technology they use. BTW-just had my first of a series of cleanings. Deep cleaning first, then more to come. I love my teeth and want to keep them as long as I can and take care of them the best way I can. These guys are my partners in this. And, they are all really great! THANKS GENTECH!

I strongly disagree with a negative posting made by "google user " about dr arlauskas and would like to post this in his and gentechs defense as I am a long time patient there not a staff member and am more than able to disprove that negative post about him. I have been a patient of his for several years now because i have very severe dental anxiety. Now i know i am probably one of his biggest pain in the ass patients, panic attacks the whole nine yards. Dr arlauskas has always treated me with respect and has never been crappy to me even when he probably should be. His staff has always been very nice, him and his staff have always been very proffesional, im hard to sedate and have sat in a dental chair having extended converstation with doctor arlauskas and have always felt like hes a good guy and cares about his patients. I recently had some other medical problems that when he was made aware of he refused to work on me until my doctor told him it is safe because for what i could only assume is out of more care and concern for his patients than the dollar as it was put by google user. He has also told me that work other dentist said i needed wasnt accurate airgo again debunking the fact hes a money grubber. I have such severe dental problems and dr arlauskas has always done a great job on me with extractions, often painless, fillings, deep cleanings, follow up care. My personal opinion of doctor arlauskas and the staff there is they are geat and they are caring and i would reccomend both gentech and specifically doctor arlauskas to anyone. The guy is like the dentist guru, hes awsome. Allthough hes like trying to get an appointment with the president. Very busy guy, lots of people like him. I strongly reccomend him for anyone who needs an excellent dentist who also treats you like a friend in my opinion.

I called Clackamas Office on Friday. I had a severe toothache. It had been coming on for a week and now it was unbearable. The Secretary was able to get me in on the following Monday at 1pm. I was relieved to get it so soon. I arrived in the office 15 min early with the pain level at about a 9 out of 10. Before I could finish my paperwork they had escorted me into the examining chair and within 10 minutes I had an answer and an expedited appointment for treatment on that coming Wednesday. The MD, Sonny Thenus was reassuring to me, that she will do all she can to save the tooth with the least amount of procedure. I was happy to hear that. We all know how expensive it can be. She explained that there is a possibility that a root canal can be avoided. From start to finish it took about 20 minutes, and on my way out, handed a prescription for a stronger pain reliever so I could sleep. Isnt it odd how the pain gets worse at night just before you retire! Well, there you have it. Kind, Caring, Courteous Staff who understand the needs of their patients like me.

So I was on the phone with the receptionist named Nicole at the front desk. We were discussing my check up appointment and give her my information, being the fact that Im a new client. As Nicole the receptionist takes my information she gives me a date and time of when my appointment is going to be (August 25, 2016 @ 7:30am). So I plan ahead to take some time off work for my check up. Two weeks pass and Im on my way to my appointment and I call ahead to make sure I was still on for 7:30am. I call and Nicole answers. I tell her my name and last name, and the date. She tells me "Im sorry but I dont see your name in the system" I laughed thinking it was a joke but no. She said "Im sorry but thats really weird, are you sure you made an appointment?" I laughed some more. She rudely responds "Im sorry sir, Im just going to go ahead and get your information again and set you up for an appointment". Sure enough I go down there and see her in person myself only for her to give me a card with a date and a time for a next appointment. Uh no thank you bby girl! Buh bye!!

First off, the staff is nice. The dentist Dr. Darius Arlauskas is not friendly, ethical, or courteous. He is extremely arrogant and is a money hungry slick talker who will undoubtedly tell you that you need much more dental work than you actually do. Went to Gentech after insurance changed with my employer. It sucked cause I really liked my previous dentist. it is worth mentioning that it takes several months to get in to see my previous dentist cause he is real good and people really like him. When I went to Dr. Arlaukas, he basically said that all the dental work my previous dentist did needed to be re-done. shocking since the dentist I speak of is awesome, has very few complaints, and I have never experienced any problems with said dental work. Interesting that ALMOST ALL OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE DATED AROUND THE SAME DATE and I am sure they are from collegues, employees or probably DR Arrogance himself. Not sure how this joker stays in business. Get bent doc., STAY AWAY!!!!
