I had a pretty serious condition that eventually landed me in the ER in very bad shape. The doctors told me that they had no "cure" and that the only thing that would help me with my symptoms was surgery. I felt I could do better than that and, although I had never been to a naturopathic physician before, I did some research and went to see Dr Hamilton instead. After only two and a half months I am close to being back to normal and I dont think there is any chance I will need the surgery after all. It is amazing and my body is responding to her treatment more than I ever thought possible! Dr Hamilton spends a lot of time listening carefully and intently--taking lots of notes and getting to the root of the problem. She is caring, knowledgeable and is always available for follow up questions. I recommend her very highly!!!

I continue to be impressed by Dr. Hamiltons knowledge and dedication to healing. I saw her most recently in an effort to avoid standard medical protocol and prescription drugs, and she mapped out a different plan for dealing with my problem, using natural methods. Dr. Hamilton gives her patients all the time needed to investigate issues and explore solutions. She is an empathetic listener, and addresses all questions and concerns. Best of all, she obviously considers her patients her partners in wellness and healing, unlike many doctors, and regards the healing process as a collaborative effort. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to take an active and holistic approach to dealing with health issues and moving toward wellness.

I have been going to Dr. Hamilton for almost one year now and I have never been to a doctor that shows such care and compassion as she does. My whole family sees her and she takes the same amount of care and compassion for each of us. One of the many amazing things about her is; she takes the time to listen to you as a person, not just another patient on her chart of many clients she has to see that day. She takes notes about the whole visit so she can customize a care routine that will fit your lifestyle so shes not setting you up to fail. Now typically I may be referred to as "stuck in his ways," or "old school," but dont believe what youre told, you can in fact teach an old dog new tricks, as Dr. Hamilton has done with me. The experience was completely new to me. As you might infer from the previous statement, I typically stick with western medicine. You go to the doc, they ask the problem how long and great here is a prescription. Dr. Hamilton is the complete opposite! She takes the time to figure out the root causes and explains the process and options, and yes some where quite new to me. She is definitely a quality doctor not a quantity doctor as are most.

Of the several acupuncturists that Ive used over the years, Dara is the one who has exhibited the most thorough understanding of what is best for me. Her study of nutritional information is comprehensive and ongoing, and adds to the experience significantly for me. She loves her work, and that is obvious in her treatments. A more caring professional practitioner of the healing arts would be hard to find.
