I am 73 years old, which is to say that I have had a ton of experience with doctors, clinics and a myriad of medical issues from pneumonia, broken bones (life-long jock) to intestinal annoyances in the 3rd world to cancer not to mention the sundry medical adventures one inexorably has as a parent. I am very familiar with Kaiser hospitals, Group Health, Stanford, Memorial Sloan Kettering and the Mayo Clinic and I come from a family of physicians. The point that I want to emphasize is that Hall Health is a sort of secret super health care provider here in Seattle, especially in as much as it is linked to the excellent University of Washington Hospital down the road. I am easily intimidated by doctors and scared of hospitals. Hall Health is an intimate facility with absolutely first-rate staff (the four doctors I have met there have all been exceptional physicians). My primary doctor at HH is Dr. Dugdale, one of the most intelligent, patient, good-humored doctors I have ever known. Please do not tell all your friends and family about Hall Health. Keep "the secret" secret.

More often than not when I call the front desk of the Mental Health clinic, I end up waiting forever for someone to pick up the call. "Were busy helping other clients and will be with you as soon as possible. You may press 1 if youd rather leave a message". For hours. I kid you not. Once I wanted to see how long it would take for me to get through to the front desk and it was literally hours that I sat with an earbud connected to my phone in my ear, doing work, while listening to the recording about them being busy helping other clients. I ended up leaving work and still no one picked up. From 1pm to 4:30pm. In fact, as Im typing this, Im on the phone. Listening to "were busy helping other clients". Its been almost an hour. And no, I dont want to leave a message because I dont want to end up playing phone tag with the MH front desk. Its a game with no winners. Only phone recordings. Once you do get through, this place is decently helpful. Just vastly understaffed, apparently.

Between the phone call I made asking if there was walk-in appointments available still today which was unwelcoming greeted with Joyces snotty attitude of "they are walk-in appointments, you have to walk in to get them" to me actually getting enough energy to go down to Hall Health, waiting in line full of other sick people to finally getting to a receptionist and being made an appointment even though I had "walked in". I have wasted my time, my energy, as well as shared the wealth of my infectious microbiota with everyone so they too can feel the crumminess I feel. This place is a waste of time and if I could go else where I would.

Desk clerks have snobby attitudes and are very rude, I lost my voice due to what was later diagnosed as strep throat and the clerk was very angry with me as I was trying to communicate with them. The wait time is ridiculous, and when you are talking with a nurse or doctor, they jump to conclusions very quickly. I have come in multiple times before and they have misdiagnosed me multiple times until I went into an actual health care provider and became healthy quickly. Only reason I am here now is because it is free and I need to get a prescription.

Horrible customer service. Called to ask a few questions regarding travel vaccines and Greg was very rude and belittled my intelligence. His response to my inquiries was simply "IF YOU CANT FIGURE THAT OUT YOU SHOULDNT BE GOING TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES YOUNG MAN." BEWARE ********* Prepare to deal with third world customer service at this location. Greg was a horrible example of the medical industry and has placed a very dark shadow over this location.

A on-site health clinic for UW students, staffed by UW Medical, doctors are very friendly and nurses take care of the students well. Very busy, but I was able to see the consulting nurse immediately and if i choose, the doctor within the same day. I recommend calling ahead for appointments, as getting a same-day may not always be the case.

I am a PhD student at UW and have always had a great experience with Hall Health. They are convenient, quick to respond, and full of knowledgeable and caring practitioners. Thanks for serving the UW community, particularly us students, so well!

Worst pharmacy ever. Doctors are great. The pharmacy is extremely slow. Always told 20 minutes, but I am still sitting down as I write this 40 minutes later. You service students who are busy. Just be honest with how long it takes.

Hall Health recently billed me $400 for a travel consultation after telling me it was going to be completely free. Would not recommend, especially not for other broke college students.

Have done almost all of my primary and pregnancy (both times!) care through HHC and have had only good experiences. Staff and caregivers are pleasant, professional, and informative.

They have great staff, but the wait time is ridiculous. I came in for a cough and was there for 3 hours, with about 15 min actually with a doctor or nurse.
