It is my opinion, & it is my experience, we have received the best support for our small animals at Nehalem Animal Healing than anywhere else we have taken our fur family members for care. I have received more, knowledge and training to better care for our small animals than I have ever received from any other vet. The service at Nehalem Animal Healing is stellar. The entire staff, they are all ROCK STARS! I completely recommend this clinic for your small animal care. If I could give this clinic 10 stars, I would. They are beyond the best. I have some experience with taking animals to veterinarians. I emphatically testify, this clinic is superior to all clinics I have ever visited for small vet care. I am so very grateful I found them. You need to make an appointment as the entire county is learning about this stellar crew. So yall better get your appointments now.

The Nehalem Animal Healing is truly above all of the rest. We were RVing and our kitty was undergoing renal failure (something that had been going on for awhile). We called this Vet and they agreed to let us purchase the IV fluids to administer to him without having him come in yet again to be diagnosed. I found them to be completely compassionate and wonderful to work with. The prices were so reasonable. We called around before we contacted them and all the rest seemed more concerned with making more money and putting my 14 year old kitty through more stress then with healing him or making him comfortable in his last few hours. He passed away but I will always remember the love these people showed. I applaud them. Thank you.

We were traveling through several states when our dog developed diarrhea. She had it for several days and we tried several remedies. Finally, as we were headed to Rockaway Beach I found Nehalem Animal via Google. They said they could get me in at a given time which I accepted. However, we arrived in their community 2 1/2 hours early and we stopped to ask if we could get her in earlier. They were so gracious and took her right then. The vet was wonderful with her and gave us some liquid concoction and some pills to calm her system. Our travels were much more pleasant for her and for us after that. I loved the Zen feel to their whole operation.

Every vet I contacted in the county wanted to see all three of my dogs for a check up evaluation before giving flea medication..at a $75 cost each... and on top of that they didnt have that medication I was looking for an extremely expensive for what they did and wanted full payment upfront, the Nehalem animal clinic let me bring in just one dog partial payment upfront and a payment plan for the rest. Not to mention that they carried the stuff I wanted that works for 3 months. I kill anyone and everyone laughed about a vet to go there!

I live in Portland, but I had to take one of my dogs here (an early morning emergency) when we were vacationing at the beach. This is by far the best vet we have ever been to. Our dog remained calm the whole time..even through stitches. A first in her 12 years! She normally gets so stressed out at every other vet weve taken her to, and this has become a huge concern for us now that she is older and has high blood pressure. Weve been seriously considering making the regular drive back so Matt can become her primary vet.

My cat had developed a sneeze and his eye was really messed up. I called around to every vet in a 40mile radius and no one had room for him for at least a week. then i called nehalem and Brenden said to bring him in that day as soon as i could. we got up there and the staff is just excellent! Timothy was amazing with my cat! Matt the vet was nothing but wonderful. he was caring and gentle. i will never bring my cat to anyone else. Thank you so much Nehalem Animal Healing!

My 14 year old dog took a severe downward turn and needed to be put down. I was home alone and would have had a hard time transporting her, as well as I didnt want to upset her by taking her into an office. The kind vet and his assistant came to my home and gently took care of my pet. They also treated me with great compassion. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you!!

This man came to our home because my husband cannot lift our dog and I cannot either he is a big dog but cant jump up into a pick up....so the Veterinarian guy came to our home and treated our dog....this man is down to earth really cares about the animals.....wont leave any dog untreated....hands down best Vet for animals Ive ever met...:) He is Awesome....and our dogs loved him.

The clinic was able to get us in on short notice. The vet was caring and well informed. He wasnt rushed and spent the time with us to make sure that we were comfortable with his diagnosis and treatment plan. He freely offered advice and opinion about the situation at hand and other issues we brought up. Overall, what can be a stressful situation was pretty easy.

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Very clean. The staff is amazing! Dr. Matt really cares and takes his time looking over the animals and you can feel the love. I love that they look at both regular medicine and natural remedies. I cant imagine ever taking my animals anywhere else!

Cannot recommend this vet enough! The staff here truly cares about whats best for the animal, not the money they can make. Great care and as mentioned before, very affordable. They even have payment plan options. Love this place!

I absolutely love this place. They have great prices and awesome staff. My dog got spayed and had some complications about a month later and I didnt have to pay for getting it fixed. I will be taking my dogs here always!
