I took my cat, Archie, to the Banfield pet hospital 6 times in 2 months because his paws were painfully swollen. At Banfield, I never saw the same vet twice and I had to wait an hour to get into another waiting room, where I waited another 30 minutes to actually see the vet. After $700, 6 misdiagnoses and countless hours spent in their various waiting rooms, Archie could hardly walk and I was desperate to find answers. And then I found Dr. DeRemers Peninsula Dog and Cat Clinic. After the first visit, he correctly diagnosed and treated my kittens autoimmune disease. My kitten has to be treated with steroids to boost his immune system (which normally come in shots that have to be administered by the vet him/her self) every 1-2 months. But Dr. DeRemer had a pharmacy put together a liquid compound formula so I can treat my cat at home. Not only did he save my cat, but he also saved me a ton of money with the formula because I dont have to pay to see a vet every time my cat needs another treatment. Although not every disease can be treated in this fashion, I can guarantee that you will be treated fairly and your pet will be treated with the highest quality of care at the Peninsula Dog and Cat Clinic. Ill never go to another veterinarian, and neither should you.

Peninsula Dog and Cat- absolutely in love with this clinic and the entire vet team! My husband and I brought our first dog here 8 years ago. They were wonderful then and now with our new dog, Hattie, they have been extremely helpful and supportive. Hattie was a street dog in Mexico and one of the veterinarians had worked with dogs from that area before and was super knowledgeable about common health problems that might manifest that are not found in the PNW (such as, valley fever). The staff are caring and unique, which makes it easy to trust them with Hattie and allow me the opportunity to ask questions freely without judgment about my ability as dog parent. This clinic helped us through hard times with our first dog and when they learned of her passing they were empathetic. They really love and care for animals. They are all very nice people who are eager to help you be the best pet owner you can be. They help you stay positive when youre dogs health isnt great and they are extremely knowledgeable.

I love Peninsula Dog and Cat staff and veterinarians since they are warm and caring people and take great care of my cats. Most important of all, the vets are good diagnosticians and I appreciate that they are willing to consult with outside experts to try to find the right treatment for my animals. I had an old cat that was always vocal and could be difficult but the staff at Peninsula would always say with a smile---"Shes got cattitude!" These folks genuinely like cats and it shows in their kind treatment. Peninsula Cat and Dog Clinic is simply the best and it would be hard to find better care for your pet.

Walked in without appointment and was seen very shortly. Dr. DeRemer was a nice guy and we could tell he genuinely cared about my cat. We received 2 injections, a liquid medication to take home, an oral flea medication for the cat being seen AND one for a cat at home. All this for a reasonable price (about 25-30 per medication/injection and 38 for the exam). Just a wonderful little clinic.

Ive never had anything but positive experiences at Peninsula Dog & Cat. Dr. DeRemer and his staff are experienced, respectful, and devoted to providing the best care available to their four legged clients. I am so thankful that Dr. DeRemer is very knowledgeable about the health concerns of retired racing greyhounds. I recommend this clinic to everyone I know.

took dog in to have her speyed. they called to say post op her eye was bothering her due to old scratch on cornea..a false claim since her eyes never bothered her prior to this procedure. when i got her back her cornea had obviously been scraped during her stay there. very discouraging experience.

Weve been bringing our animals to Penninsula Dog and Cat since we moved into the neighborhood 13 years ago. We wouldnt bring our pets to another vet. The doctors are up front and very informative and the staff is kind and handle our pets with care.

I came in with genuine concern for my cat and the receptionist talked to me like I was stupid. Dont go unless you must.
