Political & Economic Prophecy
The staff at this place are very opinionated, and engage in gossip about their patients. This includes doctors and medical assistants. They act professional but they are anything but. Behind the patients back they say the strangest things. Other providence clinics may be a little bit better in somethings and worse in others. However, patient integrity and privacy is not something providence physicians keep to themselves. And I do not mean they have a problem safeguarding medical records, which they do as well as any clinic, They do discuss patients with each other, and they comment on things like if a patient lies about pain, whether a patient is hypochondriac, whether a patient likes to strip naked or not, etc etc All of these things should remain between the patient and their one PCP, not to be known by all other doctors and assistants. And if that PCP needs to consult other physicians about dosages, and the best course of treatment, then there is no wrong in talking. But they should not talk about what may be perceived as a shortfall in the integrity of the patient... Providence is horrible in safeguarding your reputation among other health care providers and medical assistants.

Expect a longer wait time with this clinic. If you expect an hour appointment, give it 30 mins more and with this also be a small clinic, expect extended holidays closures. With that being said, the biggest let down for this clinic is the "procrastination" in everything. I called in to request authorization for an lab work on Monday. This lab work specifically required a previous lab to be done. Its not until Wednesday that they called to tell me that the physician cant find my previous lab work and asked me to find information about it. When I got the info and gave to the front nurse (Tuesday of the next week), she told me that everything was already in my chart. After getting authorized, I was told that I can schedule an appointment for the lab work, or just walk- in at the providence gateway lab location and so of course, I chose the Gateway. When I get to the gateway location, I found out that this location does not carry the kit and has to be ordered by my physician. What! so why was I told to do a walk in here anyway? I felt frustrated knowing that I wasted my time for nothing

(Just posted on their & my wall:) Have you ever explained in detail anything to the effect that you had a strange symptom for years & needed a rare test, & been scheduled for the wrong one anyway? Had staff insist you didnt need to return a docs phone call so intently you gave up, then the doc refused to allow a test? Had their doctor be wearing a completely see-through shirt, or one with lots of cleavage? Had a sample lost? Shown up & not even been given your own doc? In this instance the clinic sup said I was supposed to be prescribed this w/o a visit since they had, according to another clinic, inadvertently kicked me off of having Healthshare by putting me on "Care Providence". This other doc was crazy rude & argumentative the entire time about the medication, & disgustedly told me that supervisor had nothing to do with the doctors & just saw over the clinic staff. Not that nothing ever worked out, but overall a complete disaster

If I could give less I would. This is a medicare medicaid clinic. EXPECT LESS because that is what you will get. when I raised issues with incompetent treatment of my mother and actually got upset with some scared nurse, who realised what i said was true, THEY BANNED ME. Good luck trying to get prescriptions reauthorized, it will take forever. Since you are only medicare/medicaid patients, YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A REAL DOCTOR, ONLY ROTATING RESIDENTS. IF YOU ARE SENIOR, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THEY SPECIALIZE IN FAMILY PRACTICE AND DONT KEEP UP ON GERIATRIC ISSUES, MORE CONCERNED WITH BABIES AND CHILDREN. GERRYS ARE JUST NOT AS MUCH FUN.

My dad is a regular patient at this office and told the receptionist. However she is asking for his ID and insurance card after I told her his birthdate, home address and others. She is asking these info to prevent ID theft. I found her answer to be ridiculous for no one with 87 years old man would go to the medical office faking ID. This office is at the bottom of my barrel of responsiveness. I hope someone will read the reviews and make changes to this office
