Probably the worst experience I have every had at any health care facility. I dont usually post reviews, but I made a special exception because of my experience at this clinic. I went there last November to get blood work done. They had me sign into a portal which took 40 minutes and they said I should be receiving a password soon that will allow me access to my results. I thought this approach a bit strange, but I heard this place was good so I trusted the clinics judgement in their choice of using the information portal. After the appointment I gave my card to pay for the remaining cost of blood work. I never heard back from the doctor or nurse regarding my results. I tried getting my password to view the results myself (again, very odd approach and impersonal) I did not get a call back. To this day, have no idea what all that expensive blood work revealed. Fast forward a year later I go to put gas in my card this last Tuesday and my card is declined. I am a full time graduate student and single mother. Now, Im well aware of my financial struggle, but knew I had just enough money to put gas in my car so I could pick up foster youth in Gresham as part of my practicum. I call my bank only to find out that a service called Hello Health has deducted $48 from my account. My first thought is someone has stolen my card, but after looking into it found out it was Bridge City Family Medical Clinic that subscribed to a service called Portal Connect and they charge $48 to their clients just to get access to their health records, something that should absolutely be free of charge! That very same hour I called Bridge City and spoke to the billing supervisor. She told me it is a service they stopped using because they were taking money out of clients accounts for a service that should be free in the first place. She also said that this company Portal Connect is still taking money out of peoples accounts even after the service contract with Bridge City was terminated! Whats more, I was never told that I was getting charged for this $48 service (services I never actually received) and of which should have never cost me any money since we are talking about blood work results that I had done at their clinic. I asked that I be refunded and her response was to call Portal Connect to get my refund. I then called Portal Connect and anyone that had the authority to refund was out of the office. This left me unable to put gas in my car to pick up foster youth I was scheduled to pick up. It was devastating on many accounts. I called Bridge City back after finding out Bridge City would not refund my money. I asked that she refund me based on my circumstances. She said she could not because the doctor was out and even if she did have the authority, she would need to be refunded by me since Portal Connect may end up refunding me in the end. She said that it would be taking money from Bridge Citys account and that basically wasnt fair since I may be refunded twice. So the fact that I have been charged unethically twice (last year and now this year) and spent hours getting to the bottom of the problem and still have no way of putting gas in my car to pick up my youth in Gresham was somehow less important than making sure they kept the $48 in their account? After all, was it not Bridge Citys decision to use Portal Connect in the first place? And why in the world would they EVER consider subscribing to a service that does not allow easy access to patient records when the clinic themselves did the work, have that info and ethically should be granting clients access to those records. And lastly, what is $48 to a private health care clinic, when $48 for me means being able to put gas in my car? An absolutely unethical and disgusting way to practice. I still have not heard back from the owner of Bridge City, Teri Bunker.

My family has been going to Bridge City since 2010. We enjoyed our first few visits and nurse practitioner. She then left the clinic and we were not notified. The relationship with your care provider is not priority. We have had to see 5 different people in a year and a half because the practioners kept leaving. We often would wait an hour or more to see the staff, sometimes in the small exam rooms which have poor air circulation. Our average well-baby visit took 2 hours from the time of the scheduled appointment and us leaving. This was very challenging with children under the age of 2, but the staff seem unaware of the problem. From the extensive time spent in the waiting room I can say that the front staff is more interested in their policies than customer service. They are quick to go on the defensive rather that resolve the situation. The one time we took our daughter in for tonsillitis they sent the lab work to a lab that was not covered by our insurance, leaving us to foot the entire bill. When we asked them about it, they did not understand the problem. Instead condescendingly tried to tell us how insurance and deductibles worked. Other notes: They will not come to the hospital for the babys delivery, They have instituted a new online account that has a mandatory 30-day trial, and then charges you after that. This is an included service at other clinics, not a separate fee. The staff doesnt truly understand the system and dont seem inclined to learn. They prefer to hand you a brochure and shoo you along.

1,st off the owner is Nurse Bunker not Doctor she is completely unethical! She is rude and uses her patients for personal gain ,if you happen to be on her good side ( you are doing something that benefits her ) she will give you above & beyond care! After hours even .Then when you are of no use to her ,she treats you like garbage. She hired my husband to do work on the clinic My husband did the work for way less be cause he though some went towards his bill , no she over billed us .She also talked my husband in to hiring her kid totally unprofessional . My husband would also help her with her personal problems in her relationship .He thought he had a close friendship with this person. How wrong he was She turned on him when she didnt want to pay. Him .My experience at this clinic is good providers never stay only rude unprofessional ones I wouldnt get medical attention here if I was dying

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! DONT GO HERE! First time we had a bad experience, bad customer service, rude workers. Gave them another chance this year, had terrible experience. Came in on time, waited an hour before could see doctor. Doctor was just chatting in her office about nothing important. They lied and said doctor wasnt there yet and told us to wait another 15 mins. Doctor came in room w/ bad attitude like she hated her job and hated us for being there, then tried to sell us some lame insurance plan and got mad when we didnt want any of it. Ive been to many clinics in my life and this is the worse one so far other than Providence urgent care clinic. Wouldnt even go here if this was the last clinic in this world.
