Left my deceased dog in a freezer for almost a month after lying to me when I called there twice before finally calling again. They said they sent her to Seattle to be cremated the first call and second call that it just took a couple weeks. Called today only to have Forrest Gill, their manager, become very irate with me after I became very upset and wanted my money back and for them to right a serious wrong. Opened up barely healing wounds in our family knowing she was forgotten in a freezer just short of a month while we were lied to. Found a local place that felt terrible and went to pick her up. They refuse to give me their Field Manager Amy Olsoms number to talk to someone. Had to go into a queue in some corporate office even though Forrest said "if you call them, theyll just reroute you to me anyway". Told corporate to not let him contact us. Ill go through other means of talking to someone. Been with them with our pets for almost 10 years. Never again.

Customer service is appalling and trying to get answers that make sense, are like pulling teeth. I asked why they do things differently than the other Banfield and I was met with an attitude and then the employee assumed I wanted to reachedule...I was just asking a question ding a ling. I keep trying with this location and Im at a loss for how this place stays open, everything there is always an issue with service or lack of information. I never feel comfortable leaving my dog with these people, I am afraid Ill get a call saying hes incapacitated when all I took him in for was a check up. As I walked in to check in, the lady at desk was on phone and acted like we werent even there. Then Forrest walked out and saw us standing there, my dog was shaking so he asked "is she cold"? No, hes not, hes in a vets office, a chihuahua and youre in his bubble. Id be shaking too, dude...

How horrific can customer service be at a vet clinic. We have three animals insured through Banfield and have never been treated so rudely by the front desk the entire year that weve had the insurance as we have at this location. Not only did they say that one of our dogs had a tick on them they did not have the right name with the right dog. And after trying to sell he stuff as we are used to them always adding things to the visit which seems to be routine which Im not sure why. When my partner told them no the front desk girl on the phone got a rude and then told him and that he could pick the dogs up after 2 because she did not like pickups before 2 and then hung up on him. We definitely will not be taking our pets back there and we will be cancelling the insurance is through Banfield.

The Salem Banfield took great care of my pet after he sustained multiple bites and infections while attending doggy daycare at Suite Dog Daze in Salem. Due to our work schedules my husband and I had to drop our dog off 3 days this past week (once for surgery and twice for surgical follow-up), and each time their staff was very welcoming and showed great concern over our dogs healing and wellness. Each day we were immediately notified of our pets prognosis, and were given a thorough care plan to ensure he heals properly. I have been so distraught over this last week at what had happened to my dog, but I have been very reassured by the competence and care taken by their team. We cant thank them enough for taking care of our family!

Ive had my dogs on bandfield wellness plans for 8 years now, this place used to be great. Sadly things have changed and each time I have to go in or call Im more and more disappointed with the customer service. It seems business is much more about profit for them now, rather than actually compassionately caring for your beloved pet. If you need to take your pet in for a something you better make sure to call days in advance because they are so over booked and understaffed theres no way youll get a same day visit anymore. Good thing I have that wellness plan huh? What a joke! Dont get used to one veterinarian either they are constantly changing doctors and nurses. I dont think I will be taking my dogs here much longer...

I took my kitten in for routine vaccinations. For the first visit, I had to wait over 45 minutes and listen to two employees complain about two other employees. I came back for the last shot in the series, only to see a sign that they had cancelled vaccinations for the day. Wasted two hours in the middle of my work day to pick up my cat, drive to their clinic, see that they wont see the kitten, drive back to my house, then back to work. The employees did tell me that their are other clinics (non Banfield) in town that are doing vaccinations today... great idea!

If you scheduled an appointment you will still wait up to 45min is my longest wait time, BUT if your literally 3 minutes late they will cancel your appointment. Yet they dont let you check in early. Small talk at front counter right in front of customers, walk up and interrupt customers talking at front desk. We have been back a few more times for routine things and have had a much better experience thus far. Did a really good job with our dogs teeth cleaning, we continue to see them with good results

Recommended to remove a kittens eyeballs due to URI.. a SIMPLE URI. He ended up calling an eye dr in portland who said simply clean them and it will be fine.. and they were. He also charges hundreds of dollars for vaccines which cost about $4. This guy should not be a vet. They are in it for the money only and use medicine VERY haphazardly

Amazing doctor! Dr. D is always friendly and kind to my boys and myself. She explains everything to me very well and I feel like she always has my pets best interest in mind instead of worrying about making a profit. I have been taking them there for a few years now and have nothing but wonderful things to say about her!
