We have been going to Dr. Polk since the 1980s when we first moved to PA and although I have moved from the Chadds Ford, PA area, I would drive the extra miles to have Dr. Polk take care of my pets. Dr. Polk has literally saved 2 of our pets lives, a black lab we had years ago and an older 16 year-old kitty who has been seeing him since he followed me home 16 years ago. Dr. Pote is kind, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable about old, current and new pet illnesses and techniques and goes out of his way for his animal friends. I wish that all vets were like him. This is the most extraordinary vet I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately, I have moved to New Mexico and am still mourning the loss of having Dr. Pote as a vet. His ability to diagnose my many pets health problems was amazing. He always thought to ask the right questions, and never did unnecessary tests putting the pets through stress and the giving the owners ridiculously high bills. He is one of the most ethical and brilliant vets Ive ever experienced. Under his care, all of my pets lived long and healthy lives, way beyond their years! If only I could convince him to open a practice in Santa Fe!

This vet was so personable and genuine. He seemed to really care about my animals (I have multiple) and took the time to answer questions I had. The clinic is very basic, but clean. The care by the vet was excellent.
