I wish Yelp provided an option for zero stars or better yet, negative stars. There are tons of words to describe Vincent Votilla but Ill start with incompetent and arrogant to start. I moved to Lancaster last year and schedule a cleaning and consultation. I was having ZERO problems at the time. Votilla recommended he replace 3 old fillings with new ones in order to prevent future root canals. Like a idiot, I agreed. The day after the procedure I began experiencing a throbbing pain that radiated throughout my face. Ill cut to the chase, after a month of agony, I drove back to Washington, DC to have my old dentist cleanup up Votillas mess. What Im left with is two root canals, two crowns, thousands of dollars and a months worth of torture. When I confronted Votilla, he denied having done the work. After I insisted, he finally looked up my records only to find out he was indeed the person responsible for wrecking my mouth. His response, "I guess I could see if youre somewhat frustrated." Really? He prevented nothing. He took 2 teeth the were perfectly fine and drilled all the way to the root pulp, filled them back up, said nothing, and acted surprised when I told him about my problems. Either hes fresh out of dental school or he has no integrity....Ill go with the ladder. If youre looking for a dentist. Do NOT even think about going to Votilla Dentistry and if you are a patient, Id start looking elsewhere immediately!

He is an outstanding, caring dentist (and a perfectionist and my teeth show it) who has consistently improved the quality of my teeth, smile, and dental health every year. My dental health is far better now in my 60s than it was in my 30s thanks to Vince.
