This place is the absolute bottom of the barrel. I wasted five hours of my life here because I was in excruciating pain and it was the closest place that accepts my insurance. Look, I get that this place caters specifically to low/no income individuals who are on public health care. Thats not a big deal to me. It shouldnt by default mean sub-par care is offered. I have a rotted tooth that broke open, and I spent last night in horrible agony. I was taking the maximum over the counter of Ibuprofen, Naproxen AND Tylenol, and it wasnt TOUCHING the pain. I spent the night rocking back and forth in bed holding ice packs to my face. It was torture. So I went to this place because they accept walk-ins between 1-3PM. I got there at 12:50. There were only two other names on the sign-in sheet before mine. I didnt get brought back to the actual dentist chair until 3:30, and I didnt get SEEN until close to 4. I was prepared for a wait, being a walk-in and all, but this was outrageous. Even the dentist, and older fella, repeatedly commented on how long my wait had been. They then took x-rays of my teeth. I should point out I had written that I was in pain on all the forms, and Id told every new person who interacted with me that I was in pain. Yet when the dentist finally examined my teeth, even seeing the gaping hole and exposed nerve in my mouth, he seemed surprised that I was in pain. "Oh, youre in pain?" he had the audacity to say to my face. He then said he would prescribe me 800mg of Ibuprofen. Again, I *TOLD* them thats what I had been taking (and then some) for 24 hours, but he refused to prescribe anything else. He also said that the wound didnt look infected so there wasnt a need for an antibiotic. He said that I seemed anxious and he thought it would be best if I was referred out to another place for the actual tooth extraction/surgery where they could put me under. Then suddenly a nurse shows up with a different dentist entirely. He looks at me and says they can do the extraction there, but then says the wound IS infected and that it DOES need antibiotics, and that I should treat it with antibiotics and then come back in two days for the extraction. So Im like...okay...I will TRY and cope with the pain for two days, and the antibiotic SHOULD make it lessen. I ask him why they cant give me something stronger for pain management and then this piece of crap says to me: "We dont prescribe narcotics because of our demographic." BY WHICH HE MEANS POOR BLACK PEOPLE. But then I get out to the lobby and Im told the soonest they can schedule me for an extraction is the 26th of January - 20 days later! I was like, what am I supposed to do to manage the pain until then?!? Shes like *shrug whatever*. Then to top it off, it takes 45 minutes for their in-house pharmacy to fill my damn script even though theres hardly anyone around waiting for scripts. So basically I wasted 5 hours to get my x-rays done and get an antibiotic, and now Im going to have to schedule somewhere else ASAP who will hopefully do an extraction on the spot (Gentle Dental is good about this.) In the meantime I will probably have another horrendous pain filled night, all because this RACIST dental office has a blanket policy against prescribing totally appropriate medications, when actually warranted, because they think all poor black people are chasing the percocet dragon.

I am highly disappointed, Ive been coming to this place for more than 20 years. They dont respect their clients at ALL. Even when I schedule an appointment Im am waiting just as long as a walk-in patient (4 hours or longer). They dont pay attention to the patients who walk-in or those who scheduled an appointment. The staff dont keep the patient up to date leaving the patient to travel from the waiting room to the desk MULTIPLE TIMES. The staff are either spending time talking to their coworkers, pretending to be busy, or claiming to be helping someone else. Be AWARE! dont book an appointment 11am and early noon. Most of the staff is out for lunch and they dont return till around 2pm (ridiculous I know).

This place needs to be shut down. The people that work there are very rude and ignorant. The place is always dirty and you wait for hours even when you have an appointment. They know NOTHING about dealing with patients. I always have a new doctor every time I go and they barely check you. You wait for hours to even see a doctor.......they put you in the exam room for hours before you even see a doctor. The girls in the lab are very rude......they dont even turn around and talk to you.....youre looking at the back of their head. They need to get some real staff in that place and clean It up. Poor excuse for a clinic.

Dont go here. You get better service at a hospital then here. They dont go above and beyond. Not really sure how the Caucasian with the big nose and straggly hair along with the short hair other glasses Caucasian got the opportunity to work there. They always say its nothing wrong and soon as our go to a hospital, boom, they tell you everything going on. I feel like I shouldnt have been billed for a whole two year at least by them. Theyre horrible

I love my primary care. it is clean And have air & Heat. My old primary Dr had no heat in the winter or no air in the summer. The place was so old and out of date. And very dirty. But my new primary office is very very slow. But is is worth the wait. And I love my Dr even tho she is slow. but she spends time with her patients, So that is a plus.. I can live with that.. she is the best Dr..

Even though the service upstairs was good the service in the receptionist desk was horrible. I just got a medical bill that cost me 105 on something that I did not even requested for and paid them 100 dollars just to get the shots I actually needed to go to school and now another 105 for shots that I was not informed of nor asked for..

They introduced a patient portal that is suppose to make it easier to access you information online. It would be nice if the staff can communicate accurate information regarding this portal. Is this portal legit? Does it really work? Frustrated....

They are slow, the medical assistants are slow and make mistakes. The service sucks. I have changed dr.s once. Ill be leaving that practice very soon

This clinic is really slow
