Horrible. Ive had pets my entire life and worked the front desk at a vets office, and have loved most of the vets I have taken my pets to and the vets I worked with, because generally people working with animals seem to enjoy their job and look forward to it. When I walked in, the staff was cold. Not unfriendly, but not friendly. They ignored my pet completely, which has never happened at any office Ive witnessed. Even when the tech took us back she did not say "hi" or pet or acknowledge my dog. When we went back, the rooms look stark and depressing. The vet came in to introduce herself, and she was OK. They wanted to give my dog Benadryl for possible allergy reactions to vaccines (because he has had some ONE time, years ago), but I said thats fine as I understand she was trying to be safe. They took him in the back to do it, which was odd to me that they didnt have the tech come in the exam room and help restrain him for it there. Then, she comes back in, without my dog, and says she did his exam and he was fine. Ive never had a vet do an exam NOT in the exam room or in my presence, which seemed odd, with a non -aggressive dog. She didnt ask any questions or anything, or ask if I had any questions (I did ask whatever questions I had though). I told them I wanted him HW tested and to get back on his HW meds (since he hadnt been for over a year), and they did it. I assumed his HW test would be the 4DX test for HW/Lyme/erlichea that weve had done previously, and it would be an in-house test, but it was not. It was JUST a HW test that was sent out, Im sure which is what made it so expensive. This was my own fault for not asking, but I really didnt know I had to ask, as previous vets I had been to always did a 4DX. When I was checking out, the lady at the desk was typing things on the computer for over 11 mins (yes, I checked, because I had somewhere to be). She didnt look up or acknowledge me, even just to say something like "Im just finishing up entering your things, it will be a few mins", so I knew what the hell was going on. As I said earlier, Ive worked in vet offices, and other offices, and understand that you at least ACKNOWLEDGE the clients so they know whats going on. This was frustrating and I really feel like if you dont have the personality to be front desk staff, you have no business doing it. Anyway, the prices were outrageous, but I did have to schedule my dog for his booster shot since he had first Lyme vaccine there that day. I already knew afte r his booster we would be finding another vet, but wanted to just get this part done, then move on. When I called to schedule the visit they told me that on top of the vaccine price, there was a $50 office visit fee. Im not against office visit fees, because I understand thats for the techs time or drs time. What I AM against is paying the same price for a 10 minute appointment where they are going to take my dog back, give him a shot, and send us out, as I did for a "full annual exam". Thats insane to me. And like Ive said before, Ive never experienced this. In one visit for my young healthy dog to get and exam and a couple vaccines, I paid almost the same as I paid at our previous vet (we moved over an hour away otherwise I would still go there) for our senior dog to have a senior blood panel, exam, and vaccines. That doesnt seem right to me. I cant think of anything good to say about this place.

I had the worst experience with this place. We dropped our dog off on 7/17/15 for boarding. I came to pick her up on 7/21/15. When I arrived to pick her up, the kennel manager informed me that I would have to come back in an hour because my dog peed in her kennel and she needed bathed. I thought that was odd, because my dog, who is 1 1/2 years old, has not had an accident since she was 4 months old. I came back an hour later and they brought me my dog. She was still partially wet. I say partially because 1. She was not completely dry and 2. She was only partially bathed. And bathed isnt even the correct word. She may have had some water splashed on her. She was completely covered from her neck to her tail in urine. Her tail is matted from sitting in urine. Her harness is completely soaked through with urine. They said she peed twice in an hour in her kennel and must have sat in it. My dog is a 105lb st bernard. When she is COMPLETELY soaked in urine, thats more than just sitting in it. To be that completely soaked, from head to toe, along with her harness, she would have had to lay in it for hours. My wife called to talk to the kennel manager, and he/she refused to talk to her. No apology, no explanation. We will not be coming back.

The vet we had was scared of our pitbull from the minute she walked in. Keep in mind hwhen is the softest loving guy there is. She didnt introduce herself to our dog or desensitize him to her touching his privates let alone even petting him. He nipped at her when they tried to put a nuzzle on him and she freaked out and acted like that was something that was super uncommon..... the muzzle was too small to begin with. She told us we were in danger and needed to return the dog too the spca.... she said wanted us to make sure we knew she wasnt judging the bread.... sounds like she is judging to me. In the end we will never go there or never recommend this place. The next day we went to Hill Street Veterinary Hospital where the vet made an effort to meet our dog and become his friend before sticking a needle in him.... makes sense, I know! The shot took two seconds and the staff was unbelievably friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and knew how to handle a dog. Our dog is a 65lb pit bull BTW.

No muss no fuss. Dr. Pettigrew was super nice and answered all my questions and concerns. The waiting room is a little hectic and it appears that they could use at least one more front end staff assistant but it could have just been the day I had an appt on. The facility itself seems well taken care of and very clean. All the equipment appears to be up to date. Overall an excellent place to take your pet but expect some extra wait time and you will probably been seen after your scheduled time. Prices are pretty reasonable as well and they let you double book animals to avoid a double vet visit bill at least if you have cats so I am down with that.

While the staff is friendly and will take care of your pet, they charge twice as much as any other vet in the area! $220 to get vaccinations (and its 50 just to have an exam) for my pet and the whole time they tried selling me overpriced unnecessary services. I chose this place because of proximity but Ill be going back to my original vet that charges $110 for the same service and quality. Thank you for treating my pet well, but your service is NO WHERE near worth the value.
