I visited the office for the first time today. I was very impressed. The doctor and staff were all nice, down to earth and on-time. I have some other health conditions that make sitting in the chair painful and bring an additional level of fear to the whole processes--they went above and beyond to make my experience great. Dr Shafer was great and personally walked me through everything and was in the room even during my cleaning to help make sure everything was ok. Highly recommended.

I had a crown that had come off. Dr. Shafer was able to see me almost immediately and replace the crown with a temporary. Within a very short time, the new crown was finished and fit perfectly. He was very enjoyable to visit with as he worked. I am impressed with the amount of time he took to get to know me and make me comfortable. Groupon beware! Do not purchase a groupon from them. They will do a consult and then present you with astronomical fees for Invisalign. The money you spend for the groupon simply goes toward the small amount of time you are there. Complete waste of time and money. Dont bother and go somewhere else. There is a reason why no other patients were there and the phones werent ringing.

Life saver for my 9yr old son who was in tremendous pain!!!! Not only were they closing in 10mins, we werent even a patient. They graciously took us in and took care of him right away. Its rare to find a dentist who cares and is so accommodating, closing time on a Friday. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist. Not to mention his staff is also amazing.

Coming from someone who is not so thrilled about going to the dentist, my experience here was amazing! The staff I super sweet and kind and the doctor is so nice, he talks to you like a person, he explains everything that you need and helps you feel comfortable. I am so happy and Thank God I found this dentist!!!

Dr. Shafer, Jeanette, and staff were wonderful! They took me on an emergency basis and were able to fix me up the same day. Everyone was friendly and easy-going, and my experience was great! If you are looking for a new dentist, go to South Grove! You will be very happy!!!
