Im really disappointed in Tennessee Pediatrics today. My daughter has been a patient there since 2011....I brought my daughter in for swollen tonsils. While I was there I asked if we could go ahead and get her med check-up out of the way so I wouldnt have to miss more work and also pay another $40 co-pay. I was advised NO because her primary doctor, Dr. Johnson, was too booked. I was also advised that the doctor that she saw today couldnt do it because he isnt her primary doctor. WHAT!? So now I have to miss more work and pay ANOTHER $40 co-pay just to come into the office and tell Dr. Johnson that YES her medicine is still working just fine and NO we dont want or need to make any changes to her medicine. $40 may not seem like a lot of money to you but to me it is AND my time away from work and then my daughters time away from school. I just feel like more could have been done to try and accommodate our request but instead it was just a flat out NO. I understand you have a busy clinic but it would have taken maybe 5 minutes to do a med check-up.

I have full confidence in the care provided to my three by Dr. Lund. She has shown attention and consideration to a number of our particular circumstances which has extended beyond the office (by follow-up calls at later dates). Im grateful for the times she has thoughtfuly, creatively, and wisely pondered options for us. I think weve seen each provider at this office for varying degrees of problems over he years, and have always received top care. We trust TN Peds.
