My brother-in-law lost his job recently and began having serious health issues. He lost his health insurance and didnt know what to do. I recommended that he check out Memphis Health Centers clinic over on Crump Blvd. He just called me after leaving from his appointment so happy! He survived a serious illness years back and we have all been so worried about his health. Fortunately, the doctor he saw at Memphis Health Center went over all of his concerns and the medications that he is currently taking. The doctor quickly identified the issue as the result of taking two prescription medications simultaneously, but to be certain they still ran tests and fully checked him out. He returned today to go over the test results and they all came back negative!! Since changing his meds, he has had no more problems either. He told me he will never go anywhere else after the amazing service he received. He qualified for a low $30 fee for his office visits since he lost his job which was less than the insurance copays that he was paying before at his private doctors offices. On top of that, while he was in with the doctor, my sister was able to get her three children dental check-ups. They even gave her 3 $10 visa cards because she showed up for the appointments on time. Wow! Thank you Memphis Health Center for such wonderful news today and for making sure that we all can afford to see a doctor regardless of our current circumstances. I had my physical scheduled with a private doctor for next month, but I will be switching it now.

The facility is nice, and clean, although parking is very limited and additional parking lot across the street is run down and does not appear to be monitored. Although the facility was nice and wait was short, my experience with the provider was just very poor. I have just moved here from out of state and have been trying to find a new primary care physician, but this person did not seem to care about any of that. She immediately started interrogating me in an aggressive and disturbing manner that forced me to feel like I was in defense mode the entire time. She did not try to ask me any detailed questions regarding my medication regimen, instead she continued to berate my current medications and provide me with reasons as to why I should change them instead of asking me reasons as to why that current regimen had been working for me in the past. It was very upsetting and disturbing the way she completely disregarded my past medical history and continued to accuse/doubt the little information I was actually allowed to provide her. Additionally she was very unorganized jumping all around with questions before I was even able to answer one, she was on to the next. Finally, she rushed me out of her office complaining about another patient waiting to see her and stated that she was "supposed to be off soon". I left the session still confused about what had happened except that she wanted me to call back in 2 weeks to schedule an appointment. Needless to say, I will not be rescheduling an appointment with that provider again.

I went in for a prescription refill. I just moved to Memphis and was a new patient there. The staff was friendly, however the NP I had insisted I have my blood/urine for various tests. She made it seem like standard procedure for new patients, so I agreed. My results came back normal, but two months later I get a $300 bill from the lab for those tests. The NP never once informed me or even implied I would be charged for the tests. Dont waste your time or money here.

This is a horrible place as an adult. Although they have many services in one place, it takes forever to be seen and to make an appointment. The women at the front desk have serious rude attitudes, and they take their time when signing a patient in for their appointment. Overall, everyone who works in the office/desk area make a bad experience to where you no longer want to see the doctors.

Memphis Health Center is the best clinic I’ve ever been to. The staff are so friendly and helpful each time I deal with them. They seem like they really care about my health and helping me make the right decisions. I have been several times and have taken my son there as well when he has been sick and for his shots before school. He loves Dr. Gandhi so much!
