I recently had my first experience with Dr. Nguyen. I was scheduled for a physical exam, however when I arrived they denied me that exam simply because it was my first visit, however they demanded a payment over $100 up front just to talk to the doctor. When I asked why (is it their policy, the insurances policy, etc?) they gave me a vague response and said that if I talk to the doctor about anything, anything at all, that I had to pay this amount just because it was my first visit. I was so desperate to have a checkup that I payed first and asked questions later. I was escorted to one of the rooms and the nurse I spoke with was friendly, professional, and thorough. When Dr. Nguyen entered the room and we got past introductions, I went on to explain some of my concerns and he was extremely dismissive and arrogant. He acted like I didnt know anything I was talking about concerning an uncommon condition I have, even though I know for a fact that Ive received factual and accurate information regarding it. I tried a couple times to word it differently, thinking maybe he misunderstood me, and each time he arrogantly interrupted me like I was some sort of uneducated simpleton. As if that wasnt bad enough, he basically told me I was lazy and making up excuses as to why I wasnt exercising enough. Had he given me the opportunity to fill him in on whats going on--he would have known Ive had previous injuries, chronic pain and pinched nerves that make conventional exercise dangerous, painful, and exhausting for me. We could have discussed alternatives to give me similar results with more personalized methods, but instead he blew me off. In the end, I didnt receive the treatment I was scheduled for, and I payed over $100 to get some blood drawn and be completely insulted by this person. This was the worst possible experience I could have had with my first male doctor, and not only will I never return to this facility, but this experience will most likely prevent me from seeing another male doctor ever again.

This doctor was most rude and did not seem interested in my problem. I brought all my information from my test and x-rays reports on done in Phoenix,Az with a correct diagnosis and he was more interested in the credentials of the doctor than the report. Did not read the report. I take a mild dosage of a control substance for sleeping and the guy wanted me to come in once a month and 109.00 for a 3.00 prescription.By law you only have to do this 2 times a year for the doctors visit.

It might take while but so do most doctors offices. This has to be one of the most down to Earth doctors out there. Hes not going to just put you on a med to get rid of you. He takes the time to listen and, although he might not agree with another doctors diagnosis, he will do his best to treat you and give it to you straight.

Very professional and the times Ive been there the process has gone smooth. He also referred my brother to specialists that took care of him after he initially diagnosed him. Im very happy and satisfied being under his care and will continue to go to him.
