If you care about your pet DO NOT BRING it here. It is absolutely the worst place. They do not care about your animal...only $$$$. My boyfriend and I rushed my baby to them when he was straining to pee for a few hours. Naturally I was worried. He got right in but before I was even able to sign the paperwork (which of course I started right away) he was back in my arms still in pain. EXAM OVER. They said there was nothing they could do for him but hed be fine in a few days. They then told me to see another vet. He need a urinalysis but his bladder was empty. (Yeah, its called straining to pee for a few hours) I asked whether we could stay there to do the test. I wanted him to be treated so he would no longer be uncomfortable and upset. I had brought along his absolute favorite (tuna juice) and was sure he would drink it. I didnt give it to him before we left due to possible complications if there was something seriously wrong (per a vet friend). I was told no I would not be able to stay and I should see my own vet if he doesnt get better. So he needed a test but they refused to give him it so I should go see another vet who would be able/willing to help a sick animal. At this time I tried talking to the doctor and said I didnt understand what they actually did during the exam to make a diagnosis that he was going to be ok. We were talked down to and printed information from Google. (Thanks, I can do that... my boyfriends a doctor and Ill be one soon enough.. I think Ive figured out Google.) 3 days later my baby still couldnt pee. The expensive pain meds they recommended for him had ran out so I brought him to his regular vet. They induced him to pee and got a urinalysis. They prescribed some antibiotics and suggested altering his diet to prescription food so this does not become a reoccuring problem. Within 24 hours he started to be able to pee again. I tried contacting the emergency clinic b/c naturally I was upset. They refused to actually take care of my pet. All they did was tell me his was not going to die that night but refused to do anything to diagnose the problem/help him. When I finally got the clinic to call me back (2 weeks) they claimed I refused to stay that night and I wanted to leave. The director even went as far as to claim that the attending vet (Dr. Burns) specifically remember me denying service 2 weeks later. This makes absolutely no sense. I was up all night with him, took off work later this week and I am taking the time to write this so you know my story before you choose an emergency vet. I was/am still outraged at the lack of service/caring of this place. I spent $134 for some pain meds that didnt work and for them to kick me out of the door within 15 mins of arrival time (and 3 pieces of paper printed from a google search). My cat was sick for 3 days and so I took off work to take him to another vet to spend another $150 to do the urinalysis and get the antiobiotics that actually helped him to pee again. I will never be back there. I make sure my friends know not to take their pets there and I sincerely hope you do not either.

I went two days ago at midnight, and this is the worst experience Ive ever had. First of all, the girl at the phone and entrance was a bit abrupt and lack of any empathy or interest in helping. Looks like that girl had enough of working that night. Then, we had been waiting to be attended for more than an hour. We arrived at 11 and the doctor came around 12:30. As an emergency clinic and for the price you have to pay I expected to be attended quickly, and that didnt happen. In the meanwhile my dog was laying on the floor having difficulty breathing, shaking, and suffering a lot of pain. Then after paying 600$ on tests, the doctor while smiling said that she had no idea what was going on, she recommend us to put her on a fluids and morphine and wait till 7am to bring her to my current vet, at that point my dog started to be dehydrated. The initial price for 4 hours of fluids was 500$. We refuse to do it because I cant put my dogs life in a person that is showing a lack of knowledge and showing she wouldnt be able to react properly if my dog would get worst. Paying 1100$ for nothing, aside of being an abuse, its completely unacceptable. When were leaving, one of her assistants told us my dogs temperature went up "a little bit". When I got home and I checked the temperature, she was 105,4. That is WAY high and I dont need to be a vet to know that. Also, not mentioning about the background noise, laughs jokes and conversations off topic we had to listen while waiting. There were two guys talking about prices of vultures and how cute they are, looks like they were looking pictures of it on their cell phones. I have been so many times in my current vet and never ever I have been listening laughs and jokes while they were working. Taking in count we were in an Emergency Clinic, I think its the last place where we should listen people having fun, especially when we are waiting more than an hour with a dog in pain. That shows everything but professionalism. I went this morning to put a formal complaint and they dont have any form for doing it. I am waiting for somebody to call me but in the meanwhile, I want to share with everybody such a bad experience and letting everybody know, that maybe the vets are good, but the owners of this business should feel ashamed to take advantage of the animals suffering and the owners desperation. Hospitalizing my dog on my current vet has cost me 20$, catheter 30$, pain medicine 10$, fluids 20$. My vet figured out quickly she had a huge infection in her body. What is the other 420$ you wanted to charge me, uh? What would have happened if I had put my dogs life under your responsibility? I know the answer. This place is a scam, and I wont go never ever again. Shame on these people.

I had a very bad experience at this place and I love animals I actually want to be a veterinarian. My dog was suffering at the house because he had a poop stuck and I was trying to help him but it was imposible so I decided to take him to this place. The first minute I walk there no one even said hi, welcome or something so I walked to the frontdesk and grab a form I filled out the form and placed it at the front desk, waited for about 20 mts and one of the front desk ladies told me that they were waiting for an available room which I didnt mine, so when we walked to the room a vet technician said that the doctor will come in 20 mts which it wasnt, I waited for an hour and I started sneezing so hard it was the worst allergy I had in my life and I have two dogs and that has never happen to me. The room didnt even have a hand sanitizer, when the doctor arrived she only check his weight and pulse after that a lady came with a paper to sign saying that they needed to do this which It was too much money $$$. I didnt have all that money with me and remember he only had a poop stuck, so I told the lady sorry but I cant pay all that, she gave me a face and went to talk to the doctor and came back and told me to apply for a credit card, and I told her that at this time I cant be able to apply for a credit card so she went back to talk to the doctor and came back and told me that my dog needed to stay overnight and a shot because he was anxious I said no thats the way he acts when he is somewhere else that is not home, so she went back and came with a paper for me to sign saying that I didnt want to pay for it and she gave me an ugly look, by that time I was feeling so bad my vision was not clear, my face and throat was swollen. When I got out I waited for 10 mts for the lady to get my record and pay, everyone was looking at me and no one even minded to ask me if I was feeling ok or to have a glass of water or something, when I got to my car I looked in the mirror and my inner corner of my eyes were like balls, my eyes red with blood and my face red. So I went there payed $95 the doctor didnt even give suggestions about what to do, I was asking the assistant if I can do a home remedy or something and she didnt say nothing. This place needs to have more consideration with people and be polite and have curtesy with people. And if I want I can sue this clinic or tell the health department just for the only reason that they didnt have hand sanitizer at the time I was in the room, or something label soap so I can disinfect my hands.
