This was one of the most traumatic experiences of my wifes life. During the radiation treatment for rectal cancer, she asked for pain medication from Doctor Cheng. When asking for a refill the R.N., Debbie, she begrudgingly asked the doctor and we got a refill. This got progressively worse with each visit, which eventually lead up to Debbie asking on her last request three weeks after starting her pain meds, "Why? This should be better by now!" My wife was screaming and crying every time she used the bathroom even with meds. On the final visit Dr. Cheng asked her if she was off the narcotics. Of course he was the one that cut her off the pain meds so yeah, she was off the narcotics. Altus treated her like a junkie during the worst time of her life.
