This dentist office may look nice on the outside and fun for the kids on the inside however the actual dentist has been terrible. I have been coming here for 10 years back when it was on W. Moreland Rd. and it was awesome and I loved it they took care of so many problems that my oldest daughter had with her teeth when she was younger. However recently since they have bought this new property on the corner of 67 and Wheatland it is terrible. The last time that I came they had an assistant come out and was getting onto my daughter because her mouth was numb and she bit her lip and she started telling her I quote you need to stop biting your mouth and then it wouldnt be swelling your mouth is going to hurt later". What kind of assistant is that? She is a child in that evening her face swelled hugely, the next morning her whole face on her right side was completely swollen evidently she had a reaction or something to the medication they gave her in the back. I do not like this office I will not be bringing any of my children back here. Today as we came in to have an appointment number one there was no appointment actually said the person that called me the day before to set up the appointment never put it in the system. So today when I came in they told me I would have to come back at 2 PM my appointment was at 11. Then when she got back in the back they went to do a routine feeling she needed to feelings and instead of the doctor putting a guard in her mouth so that her mouth does not close shut. They did not do that procedure however the assistant came out and let me know that she bit down and now she has a hole all the way to her nervous and so they had to put a crown on. What kind of office is this? I have no idea but I will not be bringing my children here anymore this is terrible because weve been with them for us because weve been with them for 10 years but this new office since they took over, Dr. Patels office is terrible!!!

1) Eneider & Norma were absolutely terrific with Emilie & her first "big girl" (sitting by herself instead of in our lap) dental appointment & scheduling our next appointment! When Emilie was born, she had one tooth already & around 4 months later, it started dissolving - so Emilie has been here 2.5 years & never is scared to walk in like some kids (& adults!) are. Apprehensive yes, scared no. 2) Chelsie was Christophers tech & she had great patience with an inquisitive 5 year old! The staff is always polite, weve been using Just for Kids about 4 years now & have no plans to change dentists! Christopher has a very bad immune system & therefore has special needs some times so far as using a toothbrush or using the electric toothbrushes. The dentist took the time to call Christophers hematologist to make certain everything was "okay". There wasnt a timely return call, so he called again. Wow...this was one of those times Christopher couldnt use the electric toothbrushes! And by calling back to verify, the dentist probably kept Christopher from needing a trip to the doctor for antibiotics! Nope, definitely NOT leaving this dental office until the last child ages out!!

Just for Kids is the best dental expience one can hope to have for their children. From the moment you walk in, the staff is very kind and helpful. My sons have been patients since their 6month baby check up. Theyre both now 3 and 5. They love going to their dental appointments because the environment is kid friendly and makes them feel at ease. They always look forward to hearing how they do a good job at brushing their teeth from their hygienist and dentist. Just last week my 3 year old was getting X-rays for the first time and he was afraid because this procedure was new or unknown and Tiffany was amazing at helping him feel comfortable. Their hygienist Emily Arcos takes the time to explain how to properly brush and floss and they get excited to come home with their new toothbrushes and cute kid flossers. Their dentist is always kind when addressing possible issues or things to watch for as they lose their baby teeth and have new ones coming in. It is always an overall great experience. Dental hygiene is very important in our family and Just for Kids makes it easier to keep my kids encouraged to do a good job when taking care of their teeth.

I really like this place. Its so kid friendly and such cute jungle décor. My daughter calls it a zoo haha. Denise, who deals with the insurance is so friendly and helpful and answered all my questions that I had. It wasnt my daughters first visit to a dentist office but our insurance had changed so we had to find a new dental provider and we found this lovely place. My daughter is 3 and they had plenty of things to accommodate a 3 year old. The hygienist Emily was so sweet and took care of my daughter very well, even when she was scared to take x-rays. The only thing I had sort of a problem with was the timing. I really didnt like how long it took for us to get seen by a dentist for her exam. The cleaning was quick but we waited for at least 30 minutes for the exam part. But besides the minor need for little improvements, I was overall satisfied and so was my daughter.

The check-in and out staff are knowledgeable as well as warm and friendly. Some of the dental assistant staff could use a refresher course in customer service. Ive started to go back with my son when he has X-Rays because the techs have been known to say things like "Boy, youd better not throw up on me!" which is perplexing considering the profession theyve chosen so now I accompany him throughout the entire duration of his dental visit. I know theres a lot of traffic in the back waiting area but the office should take time to have the seat cushions cleaned or reupholstered with a material that can easily be wiped off. I feel the amount of time and money that parents and children spend there, we should be able to have comfortable and CLEAN seating at the very least. Overall Im satisfied with our dental experience but do see some room for improvement in certain areas.

My family loves Just For Kids Dental! Both of my children have been going since they were babies and the staff is ALWAYS professional, courteous, and they make sure you and your children have what they need. Its easy to schedule or reschedule appointments and they even send calls, emails, and text alerts before your upcoming appointment. They always have great movies on for children, as well as interactive activities to entertain the children during the wait process, which is a breeze. They have enough staff to take care of each child so that the wait isnt long, and the dentists speak to the parents regarding the procedures done and whats going on with your child. I LOVE JUST FOR KIDS DENTIST, I wish I could be an adult patient! They make you feel welcomed and the facility is always clean.

I passed this office several times and figured Id give it a try ( who can resist the cute animal signage out front? lol). Upon arriving, my children and I were warmly greeted. They have a very clean and colorful office that is beautifully decorated like an African Safari. Very calming atmosphere. No long waiting periods. My boys loved the 2nd waiting room which featured a wall of tablets. Patients can watch movies on Tvs that are mounted to the cieling. While parents are able to sit in the waiting area and watch their child while they are having services performed (huge plus if you have multiple children) since the rooms are open. I had the pleasure of speaking with Emily, the dental hygienist, who was very kind and informative. We will definitely be back.
